I really despise the Ancient communication stones. Lets face it, they're lose and they have little hope of getting home (physically). If you can still 'go' home mentally, it sort of detracts from impact of all that distance. You could argue that they needed Earth's help at first, but I still want them to lose the stones.

They've obviously been scaled back, since the aliens have got one now.
