The while plot about nomads in highly advanced spaceships somehow having evaded the Wraith for this long, is just looking very very iffy to me.
But I'll try to keep an open mind.

Well, the Wraith mostly just use their darts to get people between the Big cullings. The Hive ships didn't move all that much for a very long time indeed. And I doubt very much that they would stumble around in deep space, without any food out there, so I think it's not that iffy...

Well we've seen that the Wraith do often hover around in deep space.
I grant you their long range sensors are NOT all that crash hot, at least compared to the Ancient and Asgard sensors the people on Atlantis play with, but they must have crossed paths some times. And you would have thought the Wraith would have devoted huge resources to hunting them down.

But thats only half my objection, mostly its how in the hell are you going to maintain all those ships for a long period of time without any infrastructure to support them? You can only 'take it with you' to a limited extent.
