whats the firepower of varous sci-fi shows(movies)

some shows that i know of(seen)

Starwars(what kind of wepons like a list (trbo laser,light TB,HVY TB,ect)and ther corisponding power

(i hate the jules(ie 10e33 power....) stuff i cant under stand it)

I'll put them in terms of "handgun" measurements.

B5 PPG = 5 handguns.
The plasma bolts fired are seriously strong, but have different thermal settings. They can be used to stun or to burn holes in metal.

ST Phaser = 10 handguns.
Same with PPG, different settings, but these can vaporize an entire humanoid!

SG-1 Jaffa staff = 3 handguns.
Can't burn through metal well, but they create giant wounds in biological matter.

SG-1 Jaffa "zat" = 10 handguns.
First shot stun, second shot kill, third shot disintegrate. 'nuff said.

SG-1 Jaffa Anti-Reetou weapon = 20 handguns.
Fuck I don't even want to get into these things. No recoil and can blow up things.

Farscape Pulse gun = 5 handguns.
Didn't watch too many FS eps, but these seem pretty powerful.

Star wars guns = ??? handguns?
Given Star wars' overcharged weapon yields, I can't start here.

I think it'd be better to put them in scientific tersm rather than "Handgun" measurements.

Because, first, we'd have to assume that everyone knows the firepower of a generic handgun...and I sure as hell don't(!)

hmmm thats a big range, a handgun could mean a .20 caliber peashooter or a .44 magnum
