Your fringe desires of what to see in DW

Well, like the title says, slit your guts and smear the results in this thread.

What plots would you like to see in the new Doctor Who that thus far has not really been shown?

I want to see the interior of the TARDIS with gleaming white halls and control panel that doesn't have bizarre cranks and squeeze balls. Given the "old" console chamber Baker used for a while, it is reasonable to assume that the other versions were in fact different chambers the Doctor moved to from time to time. Surely they weren't all destroyed in the Time War. The new console and interior just look stupid. It's almost as bad as McGann's gothic manor.

At the very least I'd like to see more of the TARDIS, with at least a few white walls. There have been references to other chambers, but we haven't seen them.

I'd like to see a picture of one of the other Doctors. I was annoyed in the first episode when the conspiracy nut collected photos of the Doctor that he didn't find any other incarnations.

I'd like to see Susan. Maybe the Doctor could arrive on Earth about a thousand years from now and run into an elderly Susan. It might be cute to see an old woman calling a young man "grandfather". More importantly, I'd like her to lay into him for abandoning her on a post apocalyptic world for a boy she had just met. In fact, wasn't the Dalek invasion prevented in a Pertwee story? Not to mention the Time War wiping them from existence. What happened to Susan when the world she knew suddenly changed? There have been vague references to kin over the years, but I would like some formal recognition of Susan. The fact that she was just forgotten has never sat well with me.

I'd like to find out what happened to Susan myself, but there's no need for her to be an elderly old woman. She was supposed to be a Timelord too, afaik. So she could easily be in one of her regeneration sequences.

Why not have her as an old lady? In fact this would bring up what would seem to us a rather strange dynamic in Timelord society, that parents would regenerate and suddenly look younger than their children. Plus it might be nice to have the original actress reprise her role.

Dude, the industrial console room was the only good thing about that whole movie! :) Then again, at least you're consistent in your 'everything should be the same' attitude.

Yeah, this was somewhat corrected in human nature with sketches of all the incarnations, though.

I'd like to see something like a less forced Love and War: let's see the Doctor do his retarded plots and schemes and have people HATE him for it. People he cares about, people he saved: they aren't always going to understand, and some of the shit he does is FUCKED UP, and people would NOT let it stand.

Well, they're having a Sontaran, right? Well, I'd like to see him done in the vein of Linx or Styre; not merely a beefy ass kicker, but a nasty, sneaky, intelligent sort of bastard.

Love And Monsters almost portrayed what I'd like to see; an episode of Doctor Who without the Doctor in it :) Make it like Stark's idea, too.

No. he'd be a dim witted monarch type Doctor. :)

I wouldn't mind finding out what happened to Ace after "Survival".

If the novelisation of Curse Of Fenric is to be believed, she ended up at Versailles, involved with Captain Sorin's ancestor. Some of the later novels may have added to/changed that, I suppose.
