A Confederation class dreadnaught with an escort of 1 Concordia carrier, 2 Waterloo cruisers, and 4 Gilgamesh destroyers vs a Midway class carrier with an escort of 2 Plunkett cruisers and 2 Murphy class destroyers.
The Confederation group has upgraded armor to equal the newer Prophecy era armor. Both groups are using the Secret Operations fighter craft.
The Confederation group has 296 fighters total. They also have more capital ships and all but the Concordia have somewhat heavy anti-ship weapons. The group has a total of 24 Anti-Matter guns.
The Midway group has 312 fighters. The Murphy destroyers hold 15 fighters as do the Plunketts. While the Confederation group has the 24 AMGs, the Midway group has their heavy weapons located on the Plunkett cruisers. The Midway group also has assault landing vehicles and SWACs craft
The Confederation group has fewer fighters, but a numerical capitalship advantage with most having heavy weapons. The Midway group has more fighters, a pair of cruisers that are superior to the Confederation escorts, and has SWACs support.
Both sides have two goals. The Primary goal is survival, the secondary goal is destruction of the enemy carrier/s. Can either side take down the other or catch a retreating carrier/s?

So on each side are we talking about Black Banshee, Vampire, WASP, Devastator vs Excalibur, Longbows, and Bearcats?
Or is their an equal distribution of fighters of all classes?

Both sides have Secret Operations era fighters. Yes, that means the Black fighters along with the upgraded Excalibur's and Thunderbolts.Ghost Rider wrote:So on each side are we talking about Black Banshee, Vampire, WASP, Devastator vs Excalibur, Longbows, and Bearcats?

For the first objective of Survival...I give the Midway forces alittle more leeway because the numbers favor them but also that the Black Craft is enough of an upgrade to hold up against the WC4 fighters.
As for the second...no...because getting through eithers picket lines is not going to happen given the circumstances.

Ah...though 296 vs 312 both Spec op Fighter.
Too small of a difference...and whether either fighter screen starts suffering that one will pull back.
