Stargate Continium trailer (spoiler warning)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II52g4ulAmk
I just found this on Youtube. Low quality, but hey...
I have to admit, I have greater hopes then I thought I would for this movie. Fleets of Ha'Tak in orbit blasting Earth, F-15's vs Death Gliders...
And Ba'al/O'Neill play.
This has promise

Sweet merciful Zeus, there were literally screaming fangirls there! I knew it was a bad idea to keep the sound on high....
Looks good, even with the stereotypical film voiceover "This summer..prepare for..."

I wonder; there's some shots that could be recycled for the trailer there, including Anubis' flagship. If that's in the film, has Anubis taken over the galaxy, and made Ba'al is vassal, or has Ba'al somehow beat him to it?
Also, at 1:03, there seems to be a huge fireball caused by orbital attack against a spherical object. I wonder what that is...

Is it possible that they manage to repair the timeline but save the Asgard?

They'd need to introduce a way to save the Asgard; though perhaps, given that Ba'al is not ankle deep in replicators, the Asgard would have won their war with the bugs in this timeline by some other means, and had resources to devote to solving the other problem.Gustav32Vasa wrote:Is it possible that they manage to repair the timeline but save the Asgard?

If you ask me the only reason the Asgard truly lost the war is because of their retarded plan to use Reese to trap their Replicators on their own home planet. I mean, what were they thinking?
Without the Tau'ri to give them Reese, maybe they worked out some other means of defeating them. Though I get the feeling the writers will have just side-stepped that whole issue.

To be fair, without the Tau'ri there'd be no Reese for the Replicators to copy the humanform idea from, and thus no RepliCarter to make them invade the Milky Way; they might just be floating around feasting on Asgard ruins somewhere.Darth Onasi wrote:If you ask me the only reason the Asgard truly lost the war is because of their retarded plan to use Reese to trap their Replicators on their own home planet. Better quality trailer up now.
All I can say is Ha'tak, Attack! (say THAT 3 times fast)
Orbital bombardment may give firepower calculations to play with as well.
Hammond and Hayes again getting together, as the Earth gets attacked!
Mitchell with what looks like an AK of some kind (with a collapsing stock, wooden finish)??? In front of a Stargate?
What looks like an Al'Kesh on the ground (on Earth) taking fire from above. Also has shields, for once.

Depending on how much Ba'al knows at the minute, I've got the image of him letting Anubis dig up all sorts of ancient knowledge and then coming into his throne room with Merlin's ascended-smiter.Darth Onasi wrote:It's nice to see Ha'taks be menacing again instead of being the joke of the series, though I could do without the black Anubis cog-ship of doom.

Having seen it in more detail now, I'm much more impressed, by the way. Seems he's using an almost Dakara-scale fleet here.
