What portions of the Dune EU should be scrapped immediately, and what is redeemable?
I don't really have a stake in this race except I think that House Ordos is pretty cool and it'd be interesting to have a three-way war between them, Atreides, and Harkonnen once in a while.
Give the Dune EU the EU-fic treatment

I would suggest dropping everything that followed Chapterhouse of Dune. To be honest, I haven't read it, but the summaries I read made it sound terrible. I think squaring the prequels would probably be the best thing to do.

I'd probably drop everything but the now unofficial Dune Encyclopedia. It has its problems, but it at least was written by someone with a brain.
Turns out that a five way cross over between It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the Ali G Show, Fargo, Idiocracy and Veep is a lot less funny when you're actually living in it.
