I got Scourge the Heretic while I was at Worldcon in Denver and recommend it wholeheartedly.
It's not pure condensed awesome(unlike the Ciaphas Cain novels) but it's is still far better than the Heresy novels.
I enjoyed it about as much as the last two Ravenor novels.
