I am not sure if it is possible to measure a period of time as short as what you are describing.

Culture minds would look at the "battle" and say:

OMG! They fight faster than we do!!!

and they run, and so the allaince also beats the Culture by default.

Seriosly though, The Culture would be impressed by the time-span of this "war".

Its a joke. The SDF-1 alone could take out several Fed ships in one cannon blast. It'll take one maybe two Gundam's pers ship. Couple of shots with there beam guns to the fart and explode warp cores and its over. Those other dudes can sit back and drink coffe why those dudes did the lite work

Gundams, in terms of sublight speed in space, are very very very slow, and the Libra's main gun was no more than a few Megatons at best....
