So, only a partial fall of the Imperium, and ABBADON is the one that held it all together?
That's... interesting. So is the astronomicon working properly I wonder? Do they still sacrifice psykers daily?

On a cursory skim, it looks like they have essentially similar events play out, only with the sides reversed: the loyalist Primarchs rebel and the rebel Primarchs stay loyal. The devil's in the details, obviously...

Re: An Alternate Heresy
That was actually one the points of Our old Gulliman Heresy Discussion a few years, of Roboute Guilliman leading a Heresy of His own, with Horus staying loyal and also reversed the sides the other rebelling and Loyal Primarchs, thanks to this the style of war of the Heresy Changed a fair amount from Horus's Rebellion. The fact the Ultramarines were almost as large the rest of the Loyal Legions combined was emphasised here, and in later Crusades their Break-away Empire required the rest of the Combined Loyalists Legions to defeat. On a cursory skim, it looks like they have essentially similar events play out, only with the sides reversed: the loyalist Primarchs rebel and the rebel Primarchs stay loyal. The devil's in the details, obviously...

Re: An Alternate Heresy
It's interesting to speculate on how the lines were drawn in the Heresy: how much was because some of the Primarchs were really more loyal/more ethical/more Warp-resistant than the others, and how much was because of the interpersonal ties among the Primarchs and between them and the Emperor?

Found it a while back, enjoyed it. Just wish the author would update it.
