The Massive (Invader Zim) Vs. Holy Terra (40K)

Post by Invader Taz »

For those who don't know what Invader Zim is: http://zim.wikia.com/wiki/ZimWiki

Firepower of an Irken civilian ship the size of a Volkswagon.

Now on with the thread!
________________________________________________________________
Due to Zim messing around with extra-dimensional technology the planet size flagship of the Irken Empire, The Massive, is thrown into the WH40K galaxy at the very edge of Sol system. The Tallest decide that before returning to their own universe that they will conquer this system and turn it in a… let me see…ah! a Inter-universal Package Delivery System!

Due to their other universe-y-ness they are distinctly lacking in Warp presence (sod all there).

If the Imperium learns about the horrible meat and the Doom Bees they can use them.

And what happens if the Tallest replace the God Emperor's brain with a rubber piggy?

Battlefleet Solar uses the Massive for target practice. Do a little research on the IOM and you'll see how heavily defended Terra is.
If Dr. Gatling was a nerd, then his most famous invention is the fucking Revenge of the Nerd, writ large...

No, I have a good idea of just how heavily defended Terra is, you should do a little more research first. The Massive is at a low end about the size of Ceres (1000 km) from "Backseat Drivers From Beyond the Stars" when it rammed through planets and a star after losing shields will only taking damage to the paintjob. The (outdated) Voot Cruiser Zim was allowed does high-GT to low TT and it is nothing next to The Massive in size. Further on it's size The Massive is most likely around the size of Mars or Earth given that we see in "Battle of the Planets" that some of the smaller ships in the fleet are a good few hundred kilometers long when Mars rams them.

Eh, but fine, throw in a few dozen multi-hundred/(low)thousand kilometer Viral Tanks to escort The Massive.

That could be a problem. Fortunately, Battlefleet Solar is very big, very powerful, Nd is sunplamented by all the orbital minefields and batteries. Hell, the moonnis basically a giant defense battery. I am willing to cede that the Massive would win, but probably eith considerable damage.

Agreed, The Massive is powerful but Battlefleet Solar and the other defense forces in the system have a major numbers advantage that will help against The Massive. Even if Battlefleet Solar takes a lot of losses the Irkens will still have the rest of the Imperium arriving in Sol within only weeks to months to help defend Holy Terra... that reminds me, doesn't the Imperium still have a Space Marine Chapter with a moon size star ship? Now a battle between to planet size ships would be interesting to watch.

And this isn't really just going to be a battle between the Imperium and the Irkens, the Elder won't like it if the one major bulwark left against Chaos gets rubber piggy brained.

Hm, do we have any idea of what sort of old tech the AdMech have locked up on Mars? If they were to bring any of that out it would be almost a 100% sure guarantee to give them a decisive victory over the Irkens.

Also, you have not commented on what happens if the GEoM brain is replace with a rubber piggy. That is the real question here.

A side issue, mainly aimed at Taz because he knows infinitely more about the Invader Zim setting than I do:

How well do you think the Irkens could manage to resist Chaos corruption.

Hm, I had to say besides the really incompetent ones like the Tallest and Zim or ones like Tak most IRkens would be on average like a good little GEoM worshiping 40K human. The IoM and the Irken Empire are similar in that both they both hate every other species in the universe and both have leader(s) that are greatly revered by the masses. The higher end Warp beings and such is one of the reasons I gave the Irkens sod all in the way of Warp presence for this Vs. - otherwise it would be a simple matter of the Irken being mind rapped and their PAKs (mind rapping the Irkens won't work unless you have constant control or destroy the PAKs, as long as the PAK remains mostly intact it will attempt to reload that Irken's mind) torn apart by the high end Pyskers on Terra.

Heh, though it would be funny to see either Zim or GIR Vs. the Chaos Gods. Will Zim end up blowing up most of the Eye of Terror during the next Black Crusade? Warp Gods Vs. Deadly Waves of Stupidness™?
