Looking For Amateur Robot Soldier Short Film
Does anyone remember a short film made in (I think) the style of a sales video from a security company showing its robotic soldiers being deployed in various areas. The robots are roughly human-sized, bipedal and use hand-held weapons. It was a fairly realistic-looking video and the robots walking and running fluidly. They were shown operating autonomously in an somewhat dusty/hot-looking urban area on foot and possibly flying around in the back of a helicopter. The video is probably 4-5 years old. I think just one or two robots are actually shown walking around. I definitely wasn't groups of them. I've looked and looked on YouTube and can't find it at all.

Ah, and I had no idea there was a connection to District 9. Very cool.

That is very, very cool. Favorited for just being a nicely directed piece. And it was no surprise to me when I saw the shot and District 9 had the same director. The two ideas could coexist in the same city, they were similar enough in vision.
