Real Humans (SVT, 2012-ongoing)

SVT's Äkta människor provides something for those who like hard-fi stories that are following the Asimov tradition of sci-fi. I can just say that this is a damn good show about robots. Camera work is rough in the first two-three episodes but markedly improves later on and the complete product is well worth the time spent. I recommend it to all on SDN.

The critical acclaim is well-deserved in this case. Also, it is totally not like most of the other boring technophobic Hollywood shit that routinely makes me want to punch some directors in the face.

I watched the first season of this last year. It does a good job of dealing with the various issues involved with AI machine androids, and how the line between machine and human is merged.

I love how the show operates in a total gray zone all the time, leaving you with no real protagonists and nonetheless with a lot of interesting characters that you care about.
