Suppose the ranma fighters, Ryoga, Akane, Ranma, Genma(my Idol), Etc. fought in a tournament against the mortal kombat universe. Wo would win??

Alright lets make this A bit more fair. Ranma, Ryoga, and (Panda)Genma fight two at a time A la tag team versus all of the mortal combat charecters.

At a time or just any random two at a time

Subzero was cool! to bad he have his ass handed to him.(Unless he does the Big Ice Field O death thing which would be fun but bad for them)

At a time, I.e. if Ranma and Ryoga are in and Ryoga taps Genma he hops out and in comes the GIANT PANDA of DEATH.

Two things I strongly dislike (Ranma, MK) pitted against one another -- no matter who wins, I'll be happy. Pit both groups against the Capcom or SNK fighters, though, and the outcome would be very nice indeed. For the record, though, the Nerima Wrecking Crew probably have it in the bag -- despite "fatality" techniques, MK fighters are weak compared to the average fighting anime or game.

A Ranma vs. DBZ fight would depend on which writers were in charge. The Ranmaverse has always been about skill, technique and innovation over power, while DBZ rapidly degenerated into "lets see Goku/Gohan pull more power out of their asses to win fights!"
On the Topic: Ranma at any point in the series would walk all over any character but Shang Tsung, whose rapidly shifting fighting styles would keep Ranma from killing him as quickly, and might be an even fight against Ranma from the first tv episode. Any other fighter would rapidly find his moves analysed, countered, and turned against themselves.
Oh, and Straha, WHAT THE HELL iS WRONG WITH YOU?!!?!?!?! Why in the name of all that is unholy would you consider Genma worthy of being an idol?

Yes it does depend on the Writers, However I want the guys who did the Andriod VS Picallo(sp I know) Fight

A. He has the perfect alternate form for dodging work and lazing around.
B. All he ever does is fight, train, dodge work, eat, and lay around.
C. He is a KICK ASS fighter.
D. He has arguably the best fighter in the world as his son/daughter.

He is everything I want to be.

By the way even if DBZ writers were put in charge of a cross-over, ranma would win because he would use their outrageous powers against them via Hiru shoten ha atack.

This is silly.
that would not depend the writters. Ranma's characters are way cooler, but even Saffran or Cologne have no power to desintegrate humans, worlds or any chance to return from life. DblarghZ "characters" would destroy the ranma crew. Saddly...

Lets make it easier to beat Ranma. How about Ranma, Genma, Mr. Tendo. Vs. Goku, Gohan, Goten. In an all you can eat food contest to sea who eats more.
