Han Solo vs. Dylan Hunt

Post by Renewed_Valour1 »

Round 1: Unarmed hand to hand combat.
Round 2: Hunt w/ f-lance vs. Solo w/ Blaster
Round 3: Both with First Contact Phaser Rifles.
Round 4: Hunt in the Maru vs. Solo in the Falcon.

All these fights start with battle beginning at the maximum detection range for the shorter sighted or most sensor range limited opponent.

Round 1: Hunt wins because he's ½ heavy gravity worlder and he can fight dirty enough when he wants to. Strength and hand-to-hand combat training go to Hunt.

Round 2: Hunt again because a force lance does just about everything. Solo would win if it were a quick-draw situation though.

Round 3: Solo, it comes down to marksmanship and Solo looks to have the edge over Hunt on this one.

Round 4: Solo, the Falcon is faster and more manueverable than the Maru. It also has sheilding that basically negate the Maru's weapons. The Falcon also has better sensors. Concussion missiles would deffinately do the job and the other weapns would probably work, just not as fast.

The Maru can still nearly manage to outrun capital ships in several cases. She can probably manage around 25 to 35 PSL in a pinch. Freighters can accelerate at 3 to 30 Kilo Gs and from what the Maru has managed she seems to be on the high end of the figure. Might be over it considering all the extra High Guard upgrades that have been added. I figure her maneuverability to only be slightly if any lower than the Falcon. Harper and Beka have had her dancing pretty good in both "Fear and Loathing in the Milkyway", "Immaculate Perception", and "Una Salus Victus".

In terms of weapons she mounts at least two PDLs. Then there are two nose mounted ELS tubes that are capable of firing 8 20mt missiles a second each. I think the two ships are fairly even with each having different edges.

That would be basically what the Maru is. She's been refitted with High Guard tech and has hew weapons mission pod for extra firepower.

Grrrrr, Dylon Hunt. I fucking hate what they did to him. He had the Hercles mentality in the first season, but the crack smoking writers came up with a way for him to be entirely Hurcles in space. I say Han rapes him in all rounds simply out of spite.

1. Tie - knock each other out
2. Solo - no brainer
3. hmmm, tough. I'll just arbitrarily give this to Hunt for once.
4. Falcon, no contest. Maru isn't even Hunt's ship.

1. Han's kinda old so he'll be a little slower than Dylan who's not even in his 50's yet. This is where Han's experience comes into play. I'd give it a tie. Dylan's stronger and has better training, but lacks the experience that Han does.

2. The infamous Solo quick-draw wins easily.

3. Tie due to unfamiliarity with the weaponry.

4. Falcon due to superior sensors and weaponry.

He's in his 50s or 60s if we go by the image on one of the NJO novels. (assuming this is the Han in the NJO era)

I was thinking RoTJ era. I think that makes Hunt slightly older but he has his genetic engineering and nanobots to make up for that.

Hmm...then he'd probably be about the same age as Hunt then.
