Spike VS Angel

I was watchign Buffy the other day, (plz don't hurt me) and they retold Spike's life story, and that got me thinking, who would win if he fought Angel, because nowadays Spike fights mainly because he can, and the chip would be NA against Angel, also Spike seem to fight on raw passion, whereas Angel is normally very calm but has "A demon inside him looking for a good fight"

I'm stumped

Angel.

He's much more in control. Spike is a pretty good fighter but if he can't win quickly against an opponent, he starts taking stupid chances. Against a more experienced, patient fighter like Angel that would be fatal.

offically it's Angel... but I have to say Spike, he's cooler than Angelwuss. (Sorry but Angelwuss, lets see I can get into Buffy's bedroom when she's sleeping... I want to kill her, do I A.) Kill her by stabbing her through the heart or B.) Draw a picture of her sleeping to show that I was there reminding her that I can get into the house, and leave it next to her pillow?
Now would have gone for A... but Angel went for B....)

Except he wasn't trying to kill her. He was messing with her head; Angelus enjoys fucking with his opponents minds. Look at what he did to Drusilla.

I know... But lets see, mess with a dangerous women, the slayer who has the abilty to kill me, get her mad at me, all so I can play with her mind, or Kill her and then play with her firends, it may not be as satisfying yes, but it would mean he wouldn't be at too much risk.

But to him it was as much about matching wits with someone who could kill him. He gets off on the thrill of it. If it wasn't satisfying then he wouldn't do it.

In a fair fight I would say Angel. They're both vampires so they have roughly the same enhancement for strength. However, Angel seems to actually have had fight training. Besides, he's been making a living killing demons, vampires, and what not for a while now. Spike has only recently started killing enough demons to start to make him a better fighter. Though he did manage to kill two slayers. And it's true that if a fight lasted a long time Spike starts getting reckless. Spike would put up a good fight but Angel would probably win because he is more levelheaded and has more practice. If it was an unfair fight Spike would win. He's much better at doing something underhanded to win.

IIRC with time vampires become stronger and more dangerous. Angel is more then a century older then Spike.

On the season premiere of Angel he says that he spent 100 years in Hell when Buffy sent him there at the end of season 2. So he should be the equivalent of a 350(?) year old vampire.

While Angel appears to have gotten somewhat better at fighting or maybe more powerful it sure didn't seem like it when he was still on Buffy. In fact she seemed to keep getting stronger, to the point where she was stronger than most vampires.

A Slayer is supposed to be stronger than all but the toughest vamps by default. And Buffy did get stronger, probably as a result of training and experience.

Buffy's strength was increasing at a rapid enough rate that Buffy had problems dealing with her strength at times. She has broken more then one item on accident because of her constant strength increases.
