Ultimate Super hero/villain team
Ok guys here are the rules your job is to create the Ultimate team of superheroes and villains. You will make a team of seven mixed of heroes and villains if you choose. All of them must primarily reside on earth so no Silver surfer, Darkseid or Thanos types. You may not choose Doomsday, Onslaught, demi-god or gods. Of your seven choices you get one heavy weight ie superman, hulk. You must choose a leader of the group. The rest of your choices will be compromised of light to middle weights like spider-man, aqua-man, flash so on and so on. I know it is hard to decide who constitutes as a so-called “heavy weight” so take this into consideration. Can he/she take on entire super-hero teams by themselves? Is he/she always requested to serve in a save the earth campaign? Does he/she always require some stipulation in order to be beaten? You can choose heroes/villains from DC, Marvel or Image since they are the most recognized.
Battle Ground: A 10 mile radius around Time square in New York.
Their Enemy: Somebody else’s Ultimate team.
After we get a good amount of posts we should have people make challanges. Everyone else (other than the two challangers) will vote on who's team wins. I will post my team up here in a minute

You recommended that, but didn't make it exclusive. My team stays.theheap wrote:You can choose heroes/villains from DC, Marvel or Image since they are the most recognized.

Justice League- Molly Hayes: Respect Hats or Freakin' Else!
Browncoat
Supernatural Taisen - "[This Story] is essentially "Wouldn't it be awesome if this happened?" Followed by explosions."
Reviewing movies is a lot like Paleontology: The Evidence is there...but no one seems to agree upon it.
"God! Are you so bored that you enjoy seeing us humans suffer?! Why can't you let this poor man live happily with his son! What kind of God are you, crushing us like ants?!" - Kyoami, Ran

They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong
But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Leader: Batman
Superman
Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
Wolverine
Doctor Fate
Flash (Barry Allen)
Spiderman
Batman has the brains and he made an awesome leader of the JL early in the comics series. Superman for obvious reasons. GL has always been a well rounded hero, Wolverine is just too cool to leave off any roster and he can stand up to most anyone at least for a short while. Doctor Fate clinches the mystical/mental slot, he can handle any mystical threat and hopefully mental one as well. Flash gives the team incredible speed and the ability to strike first and often, as well as a scientific mind (Barry Allen) to add to Batman's. Spiderman is just the BEST middleweight in all of comicdom. He has the speed, strength and spidersense to give the team a heads up.

Ok here is my crack at it
Heavy weight: Magneto
Leader: Professor X
Grail (Wetworks)
Wolverine
Venom
Flash
Rogue
Grail and Wolverine will obviouslly be the close combat team. Venom will be able to slow down alot of people with this symbote and webbing. Flash will be the speed. Rogue can fly, is fairly strong an if the need calls she can take someones power and knock them out at the same time (if she can touch them that is. Professor X will hold off other psychics and direct the team and magneto is one bad as mutha'.

Barry Allen Flash, Dr. Strange, Charles Xavier to link they all with Batman. The rest is irrelevant. But just for good measure, Superman, Ajax (For occasional muscle and mind back up) and Invisible Woman from Fantastic Four (to make them all invisible when flash does all work).
Villains...
I am gonna get all those with the most weird outfit. Does not matter, in no one of those universes the villains are ever able to do anything worth anyways...

Muffin is food. Food is good. I am a Muffin. I am good.
Hmm perhaps I should explain my choices.
The Shade, The Darkness, Ultra-Humanite, Lex Luthor, Captain America, Guy Gardner when he had the yellow ring, Poet.
The Shade: Power of creating dark. Doesn't seem like much but he can blind other super heroes with it. Also, it helps The Darkness.
The Darkness: When it's dark, or just as long as the sun isn't really bright, he can create life. This is why The Shade is helpful. If it's sunny The Shade can create the dark so The Darkness can operate. These take the form of sentient demons of any shape and size. He also can create tendrils from a living suit of armor. He also has pretty good regenerative powers. He was also a top hit man for the mob so he's really good with guns and all the things you would expect from that sort of figure.
Ultra-Humanite: An albino intelligent gorilla. The brain is that of a evil scientist who came up with a way to transfer his brain to other bodies. He also has enhanced strength because of his body. So he's basically your evil genius type character.
Lex Luthor: You're rich evil guy. Untold resources to take on any other team. Let's just hope he's smart enough to kill when he can. Oh yeah, this is before he feels ill effects from kryptonite poisoning.
Captain America: When's he's at his best he is my strong guy.
Guy Gardner: Think of a really strong Green Lantern. Except his ring is yellow which is the one energy that Green Lanterns are vulnerable against. He's also a badass. The one person to truly take him down, or at least a clone of him, was Guy Gardner with a big ass gun.
Poet: The main character from Rising Stars. Controls the power that created all the super heroes in that series. Note, I'm taking this from near the end of the series when he has absorbed all the energy from the other super-powered beings. He can fly, move really fast, shoot energy, and is really strong. All dang near unkillable.

Leader: Captain America: this guy IS the Avengers, hes done everything from fighting alien empires to knockimg the fuck out of Hitler(how many hero's can say they did THAT)
Muscle: Hulk: The current version is pretty coll and the one I would pick, he has intelligence but he couldn't really give a shit about you so he's gonna kick your ass.
Powersupply: The Mandarian: This guy has ten rings, TEN, each with different powers like Light, Dark, Fire, Ice, Hypnosis, and I can't remember(take that latern with your"green")
Point: Nightcrawler: Supper agile, can teleport, aint to shabby in a fight, and has a funky tail
Air support: Hellfire: That dude from Stormwatch(I sure as hell think thats his name) almost a human battery of power that allowed him flight and shooting typical comic-book-light-hand-blasts-of-destructive-force(TM)
CQ Combat: Conan: He was in Marvel for a good while so he counts, and besides he was more like the books was a bad ass i don't giva fuck kinda dude that bangs chicks left and right(my personal hero)
Junior Member/sidekick/most likely to turn into uper-superpowered savior of the univers(TM): Franklin Richards: Responsible for that whole pocket dimension after the Onslaught shenanigins and is the first kid from Marvels First family
Comic Relief: Sewer Urchin: From the Tick, hilarious, yeah, definantly hilarious.

Aww, WHAT!?!?! No DBZ characters?!?!?
That just plain sucks...
That just plain sucks...
Three rings for the NATO leaders under the sky,
Five for the UN defense board in their halls of stone,
Nine for the weak allies, doomed to die,
One for the patient man on his throne
In the land of America where all nukes lie.
One Bush to rule them all, One Bush to find them,
One Bush to bring them all and in the UN bind them
In the land of America where all the nukes lie.

The "We Hate Spandex" Sex, Drugs & Other Bad Things Theme
MARSHALL LAW (Started out in Marvel, did several Indies, now In Darkhorse with Regular X-Overs with Image). (Guns, Strength, Can't Feel Pain (unless he wants to), Damn Tough, Seems to know a simple method of coutering almost any Super Power)
The Midnighter (Image/DC): Batman to the ultimate exreme. Can counter any move/battle, superhumanly strong, sick, vicious, cool
Savage Dragon: (Image): What if the Hulk was smarter, and became a Cop. Doesn't like Cape and Longjohn types much. (Actually the Heavy Artillery)
John Constintine: (DC): "What if Doc Strange lived in London's Soho, instead of NY's Soho." Smokes and Cusses more then Jenny Sparks, and while not as powerful as Doc. Fate, he is much more dangerous, because of his attitude.
Dark Night Era Batman (DC): Older, eviler, meaner
They don't like the coustumed types, they use whatever advantage they can get, and there seems to be a lot of "Bad Things" in their comics.

The scariest folk song lyrics are "My Boy Grew up to be just like me" from cats in the cradle by Harry Chapin
