I guess it depends on whether Goro is allergic to Wookie hair, and if Chewie would feel extreme pain by being punched in the nuts. They might be about the same strength, Goro gets extra points for extra arms, but loses points for looking like a plastic figure.

Goro would keep Chewie from ridding arms off with his extra arms. Then, he'll kick Chewie in the gut and rip the wookie's arms off.

If normal humans, whether they're the best fighters of their generation or not, can hurt Goro with regular attacks, then Chewie sure as hell can.
