Indiana Jones vs. Lara Croft (movie version)

Post by Jim Raynor »

Two scenarios:

a) Head to head death match in a room similar to Lara training room.
b) The two are competing to get to an ancient artifact protected by natives and a variety of booby traps.

I'd say Indy narrowly. A lot of it's going to come down to plain old luck. Both have had some very tough fights and come out alive.

Indy all the way. Lara goes about it the hard way. Indy instead avoids the traps Lara blunders into and gets it out with plenty of time.

Indy all the way. I never liked the Tomb Raider games, and while I thought the movie was great, there's no way Indiana Jones is going to lose.

Indy all the way. Since the movie Lara is dumb enough to wear a thin shirt in Siberia, Indy could beat her in anything.

Indy.

I hate those movies except for Raiders, but although she has guns, he has a whip that can easily take them out of her hands. As much as I hate to admit it (I am not the biggest Harrisson Ford fan...you can tell by my misspelling his name), Indy wins.

Actually in Raiders, Indy uses a gun so she wouldn't have as much of an advantage in that area.

It also depends; what kind of weaponry does Indy have, as opposed to Lara?

My point was that, for the most part, he has a whip.

Not debating. I DID say that Indy would win.

Indy bitchslaps Laura and puts her in her place. :D

That, or Indy uses his wit and charm to win Laura over, and takes the artifact and runs back to the museum. :)

No, it'd just fall into some big crack in the floor.

But he'd still get it before she does. Which is all that matter for the purposes of this thread.
