does anyone here know the dark future series by jack yeovil?
i used the search function but couldnt find anything relevant.

All I know is that years ago Games workshop had a tanbletop game called Dark future and a supplement for it white Line Fever its a Mad Max style game of post appocalyptic vehicle combat..they set it up to where you could use Hotwheels cars but they also supplied plastic minis

i didnt know about the game, just read the books, and they´re great. they actually play i think in 1998, 1999 but there´s a parallel time line which you´re told about in the books in the history channel. the usa for example has followed the idea of isolationism and the soviet union has the role of the usa. the vietnam war was between vietnam and the soviet union. most of the usa is desert due to polution. private law inforcers are common. one of them is elvis presley in "comeback tour" he didnt die but he was an army commander for 20 years and has then built up his own law enforcement agency. very interesting time lines. everybody who likes trashy stuff needs to read it.
the guy who wrote them also wrote a couple of warhammer and wh 40´000 books.
