Lets say you live in some twisted universe where all sci-fi's live together. What long range weapon, short range weapon, armor, and special tech would you keep on you.

*Note* NO laser swords, that means psi blades, light sabers, etc. It's kinda obvious pick for short range weaponry, something that can cut through almost anything. Special tech must me carryable, not a bacta tank.

Long Range: Common Wealth Force Lance, Smart bullets that can be fired on by a verbal command while holstered and sitting down with out hurting me(Greedo scene pops to my head), can provide a defensive fire against artilery, and can extend into a staff for non-leathal fighting and can still fire.
Short Range: Firebat hand flamers. Twin flame throwers for scorching large groups of enemies/cops.
Armor: Omega Red's Armor, Not even admentium could breath through that stuff.
Special Tech: Ghost Personal Cloak.(Would pick DT's if it wasn't a pyschic ability) Invisablity that may last a while, but regenerates energy over time.

Long range: Logic/Anti logic annihilation warhead
Short Range: Anti logic projector, basically a super soaker that sprays pure anti logic, at near light speed.
Armor: Logic plating
Special tech: Logic and anti logic extraction and refinement tech.

Armor: stormtrooper armor (unpowered), powered armor is the suit from Starship Troopers (the book)

short range: S.H.A.K.K. A homing mach 10 projectile, seeks and hits whatever is in the sight when fired, can do a 180 with 3 feet of clearance, firable aimed through a remote sight, that automatically seeks the brain of any human target it hits. 2000 round ammunition capacity, which is self reloading if you feed in all the needed elements.

Armor : Doom 2099's armor (you never specified that the armor it's self couldn't include additional weaponry).

Long Range: The assault rifle from Shogo with the underbarrel energy grenade launcher. That thing can turn a human in full body armor into a red paste, and due to the perversity of FPS games, won't scratch the walls.
Short Range: Can't go wrong with a vibro-knife.
Armor: Stasis field from Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. The way I imagine it works is by warping time until incoming projectiles are slow enough to dodge. Think Matrix

Special Tech: Portable target designator for a SOL weapons sattelite (the Colonel used one in the Akira manga)

Long Range: Agni's wand from Zelazny's Lord of Light (handweapon able to vaporize almost any material in a split-second shot, range is only limited by the curvature of the planet)
Short Range: Grayswandir (Amber)

Long Range:X-G1A Anti-Materal Rifle(Little know anime, Basicly Able to Fire Softball sized projectiles at high Fractions of C or Self Guiding Subsonic Homing Missles, Plus the Scope on it is powerful enough to shoot somone in the arm whos holding a holding at gun and not harm people two meters away, from orbit)

Short Range:Power Fists(40k Strength boost weapon
Armor:Marine Armor(40k) built to fit of course thanks but I don't want to be 9FT tall

Long Range: the gun from 5th Element: seeker bullets, rockets, nets, a self-destruct, and it can fit right on the forearm.
Short Range: cybernetic arm, mounting a heat rod (kind of like an amphistaff)
Armor: personal shield (self explanatory)
Special Tech: Chameleon cloak (self-explanatory)

Short Range: Vash the Stampede's Pistol (nothing like having a nuclear
explosion generator in the palm of your hand)
Armor: Probably a Stasis Field Generator with Grav. Struts
Special: Daoden Crysalis engineered for permanent Daoden Power mode(Oni... super enviroment surviving abilities!)

Long Range:
Clone-rifle, 10km range if mounted on tripod, packs 500 regular power shots into one magazine, packs a hefty punch att full-power, scope ties into a hud.

I also need a pair of pistols so thats Jango Fetts pistols from AOTC.

Short Range:
I would have said a light dagger, a knife version of a lightsaber.
But now I'd go with a Amphistaff, works as a whip and when in "staff-mode" it has a blade that through a natural force-field extends beyond the blad and is only 1 atom thick at it's end, it'll cut through just about everything.

Armor:
I'm creating my own armor, because I want to, I'm using exisiting tech to create it though.

Clonetrooper design, just larger, because the armor is made of self-healing armor like the one on the YVH-droids, thats the top layer, underneath that one there is a thin layer of molecular-bonded armor.
It has artificial servo-muscles too so it's more like a power armor, though they can be shut down and the suit can still be used if the need arises.

The body-glove is made of the same material used by the Jedi commando team in SbS which is no thicker than ordinary cloth but can take on blaster hits.

The helmet contains all the regular sensors and overlays information from the sensors and targeting devices on the helmet and weapon.

Special Tech:
I think I'd go with a 4th Empire Stealth field, portable cloaking device.
Or maybe a Goa'uld ribbon device.
