James Bond vs. Mr. Clark

Post by Renewed_Valour1 »

I'm not sure if this would be better suited for here or somewhere else.
Both are in their prime.
Scenarios:

1) Hand to Hand Combat:
2) Armed with favorite sidearm hunting each other in a warehouse.
3) Both are in 1979 Berlin on a covert mission working against the Soviet Union. However the goals of their missions clash to such a degree that they may come into conflict with one another.
4) Clark is attempting goes into "Without Remorse Mode" and starts picking off British Agents with Bond assigned to hunt him down.
5) Reverse the role in the above.
6) Who is the better operative?

Mr Clark enters the room an watches for a few moments as Bond, James Bonds does a hottie from behind. Mr Clark walks up behind Bond while the noise of sex drowns out his approach and raises a silenced HK USP and fires several shots into the back of his head. Clark then feels sorry for the hottie and ends up marring her and raising a family while still being the shit hot opertive for the US of A. :D

Clark easily. He's a professional and tougher. Bond'll create a huge dramtic scene, Clark is in and out before anyone knows he was there. Frankly, he's a lot better and more subtle agent and would win in almost any scenario.

Considering that I don't know who Mr. Clark is, James Bond wins in my mind. :)

Bond can die. Why is he always being played by different actors? Because the "James Bond" identity is assigned to whoever has the 007 designation. Why was George Lazenby "Bond" for On her Majesty's Secret Service alone? Because that "Bond" got whacked in Bulgaria in 1969 (swear to God).
So Clark kills "Bond" in a climatic gunfight (suffering some guilt for his actions). Since in 1979 Roger Moore was "Bond", a new agent has to be selected to replace him. A View To a Kill is therefore never made as we know it. Man, this is sounding alright, actually. It's a shame Moonraker probably got made in this timeframe, but you can't have everything. :)

Clark wins. He's so much more professional than 007.

Depends on the situation really. If they know somewhat of eachother, Clark can win because he doesn't have the blantantly obvious presence as Bond. Also depends on the combat. Clark is an expert marksman in both the Pistol and Long Rifle.

Bond kills Clarke.

Bond has killed the greatest assassin in the world, Scaramanga. What threat does Clarke pose?

Clark is more then a mere assasin. For starters he does not seek attention onto himself.

Clarke is a spy, first and foremost. He acquires information and then acts on it, but he is much better at sneaking around than Bond. He is not as flamboyant, but that seems to be a necessary trait.

The Great Assassin in the world was obviously an idiot, he carryed a 1 shot Weapon, He had help who was trying to kill him constantly and he was outwitted by his own tricks of having a Dummy of Bond Set up in his little Maze

He carries a gold plated .44 magnum.

The real Bond is the one from the books, not the films.

Clark... He's just more professional, and doesn't go around trying to seduce women. What I want to see is Sydney (From Alias) against these guys :)

Clark has better skills and is less prone to distraction then Bond. He wins.
