Groo is essectially a joke character of everything barbarian destroing character made.

And without his character shield...groo is dead by the first Stormtrooper seeing him.

With it...well...nothing kills him anyways...

He's like a moronic Conan, but goofy. With an even stronger character shield. I assume, that most people have at least heard of Conan. If not, there are books and movies etc. to learn more about the Barbarian genre.

No one can have a stronger Charater shield than Conan its simple improbable given Conan's already existing super charater shield that lets him even fight off the Elder Gods at this point without rasing a sweat

Okay, not stronger then but different. It prevents him from dying when doing really stupid shit. Even moreso than Conan.
