This matchup is simple. The Naren Empire under Arkus from John Marco's Tyrants and Kings books vs the Roman Empire at it's height. Neither Liss, nor Trin, nor the Persians or the Germans may interfere.
It seems a fairly even matchup; the Naren legions seem to be fewer in number than the Roman legions, but they have flamecannnons, acid launchers, the Black Fleet, and the Roshann.
Flamecannons are essentially cannons that launch flaming kerosene. Acid launcers hurl cannisters of corrosive acid that explode in mid-air, the Black Fleet is a fleet of ironclad warships with flamecannons, and the Roshann is a supersecret police order.

Re: The Naren Empire vs the Roman Empire
If it's only a land battle, I think Roman would win but not by much. If it's a sea battle, Roman would lose by alot.Cyril wrote:This matchup is simple. Nar is a very industrialized empire. Most of their weapons are created in these vast, mechanized warlabs. I'm unsure where they get the kerosene, though I think they must mine it or something.
