If SW and B5 met.....

Well, I, for one, have never seen b5 or a Sw vs b5 crossover story. So im wondering, waht would happen if the two met? I have a vague idead about the storylinre and about the technol;ogy, but nothing really substatail. Man. I wish I got the Sci-Fi channel instead of all the local stations.

Unfortunately it has been very well established that B5 is less a threat to SW than ST, so B5 just hasn't got a snowballs chance in hell in surving that encounter!

I see most of B5 going "All Hail Palpatine!" as he turns most crusiers to dust with a big spherical station orbiting next to B5.

What I see is millions of stromies marching onto Earth, with thousands of Star Destroyers orbiting overhead and the flames of war dying out across the galaxy. Long live the Empire!

the first ones are millions of years old and can't be defeated
the vorlons ships can regenerate even if completely blown away
the shadows can make 50 deathclouds a day
you can't destroy a deathcloud
the first ones have stealth technology and imperial sensors can't detect them
mind control, the eye of Za'hadum
shadow agents will be all over the place, destroying the Empire from within
the triad can't be beaten
Lorien will save them

I saw one of em, but it was really crappy. Basically it read like this: 'The Empire invaded the B5 galaxy. They win. The end.'

Omega-13: You forgot that the Shadow weaponry ignores all shields and armor, and that Shadow ships are always half-phased and therefore are invincible.

Much as I love B5 (as much as I love SW!), they are badly outclassed against the Empire.

I've had a thought of a good, plausible crossover. Morden is trying to subvert Admirals, and is being hunted by Lord Tremayne. Good spy vs spy thing, and totally ignores the tech difference that makes the FO's SW's bitches.

Dodobrd16 is working on one. You can see some excerpts in the fanfic forums here and at B5tech. It's still under construction, and the three big chunks at B5tech are missing some parts here and there.

Would be interesting how the rest of the Interstellar Alliance would react if the EA made contact with a lone Star Destroyer. Especially if EA was unwilling to share any technology improvements.

Man an ISD2 at the battle of the line would have been horrible the Minbari would have had there ships slaughtered by it 60 htl 1 shot every 2 seconds I give the 800 Sharlins they had 30 seconds...tops maybe 40

I love B5 as a series, but I also know damn well that it doesn't have a chance against the heavy firepower depicted in other shows. SW wins this one easily.

Actually B5 will win because the Minbari have neutron based weaponry and the hulls of ISDs and all other imperial warships are composed of weapons grade uranium and plutonium. A single hit from a neutron laser will cause a nuclear reaction on an ISD. This is of course right after the they knock out the shields by destroying the two shield generators on the bridge. In addition, because the Minbari and all the other Firstones have organic tech, their ships would be able to adapt to Imp. weaponry, causing only superficial damage on their hull.
