How good will a Protoss Sith/Jedi be?

Post by Shinova »

Inspired by someone else's post, let's say a Protoss trains and becomes a Jedi or a Sith. How good would that Protoss be?

Depends. Would this Protoss be a Zealot/Dragoon/Templar/Archon/etc?

FEARSOME. A Templar's abilities, enhanced by learning the Force, not to mention the lightaber, would be virtually unstoppable except through use of drastic measures (like orbital bombardment, extreme opposing numbers, etc)

Actually guys, technically a zealot can reach templar status. If what I remember from the SC manual is correct, then templar are just normal Protoss warriors who've trained themselves hard and long enough to reach the position and level of psionic power.

This was my idea. And it would be beyond kickass, especially with a Dark Templar. Dual wrist mounted Light Saber.. Better yet, keep the Psionic blades as a backup and use hand held Sabers as primaries.

Training might be a problem, maybe, but then a Jedi takes maybe 25 years to fully train. A young Protoss is in the low hundreds age wise and Templar like Zeratul over 600. Raszagal was considered old at 1000

Some of the Templars, dark and regular-flavor both, exhibit many Force-like attributes, and even the common Zealot can summon their own pair of psi-blades. Being a race already highly evolved pisonically, I think it'd be hard to find a better race for a Jedi.

The blades are technology generated, though they are powered by psi emitted from Aiur

I always had believed that the Protoss' own psi generated the blades for themselves. Wasn't it one of Adun's teachings or something?

Manual indicates that the power suits are what do the channling. Though Protoss can create shields with there minds, though normaly it is the armor doing it.

Don't you remember the cut scene with Fenix walking, then a Hydralisk poping out? He turns on his Psi Blades, which then flicker then die (Should've used Energizers!)
