Xenomorphs(Aliens) in the Big3
How would the Big3(Starwars,Startrek & B5) handle a Xenomorph infestation?
1st case: The Big3 discover the xenomorphs in ideal conditions (ie remotely, in a secure area)
2nd case: The Big3 discovers the xenomorphs running wild on a colony, but non have esacped off world yet.
This is VS is about how the individual Big3 would react to the Xenomorphs.

Speaking for Star Wars of course Stormtroopers would fare the best. Their armor would provide protection from the acid/ xenomorph claws and tails and their weapons are well up to the task of blasting the Xenomorphs. Casualties would still be heavy however, Xenomorphs are just too bloody fast and im not enamoured of Stormie abilities in extreme close combat. They'd still win though.

I am of course assuming that by colony you mean LV-426 style.
In a remote area where there's plenty of room to maneuver and lay down the firepower the xenomorphs get creamed.

ST is iffy. The aliens, counting the queen, are intelligent. However, they are also not a warp capable species. Which means that according to the prime directive the Federation cannot interfere. Which means that they must allow the xenos to run rampant or else act against their belief system. An interesting dilemma for both situations.
B5. I don't know enough of their ground capabailites but I would wager that despite heavy losses they would win the second situation, even if it means blowing up the colony. The humans have shown they have enough bravery to do this. Remember the Battle of the Line. The first situation I think they have enough technical knowledge to be able to win.
SW. They would just kick ass. And if need be just bombard the area from space. May lose some troops but will win both situations.

STARWARS:
Scenario 1: The xenomorphs are stunned, and studied by droids, over the watchful of of a garrison of storm troopers and scientists
Scenario 2: Storm troopers and war droids are used to clean house, while sustaining minor casualties. The xenomorphs are blasted into chunks, and their bodies are studied and examined.
STARTREK:
Scenario 1: After great discussion it is decided to leave the xenomorphs where they are, because the risk is too great to erradicate them, or study them. It is also determined that xenomorphs have rights under the prime directive, and are left alone, even after killing off the entire colony.
Scenario 2: Red shirts are being pulled into air ducts, vents and dark cooridors, no one notices until the aliens start ripping out wires and important computer consols somewhere on a desserted deck. A group of 4 security officers are sent down, with flash lights and phasers, and are quickly over run. 4 more security officers are sent, but this time, 1 returns with cuts and bruises, and gets 3 more guys
BABYLON5:
Scenario 1: After the b5 forces realise that its too dangerous to study the creatures, they decided to erradicate them, by destroying the entire colony or ship that they occupy.
Scenario 2: The xenomorph infestation has taken over brown sector on b5, and security forces are sent in, to try and take care of the problem, after suffering great losses, they hold their position, and setup camp. More security officers arrive from different starships, and after days of fighting, the xenomorpsh are destroyed, while the EA sustained a lot of losses, due to weak weapons, and helmets that I could make from parts bought canadian tire,

The Xenomorphs would quickly have absoloute control of the situation. Indeed bearing in mind that a queen is more intelligent than "most humans who have ever lived" I'd say their only chance is that the queen is so pissed off by the shoddy federation design and construction that she kills herself.
Xenomorphs vs the borg.
That would be sadistically funny

Screw prime directive. If the ST people took the xenos seriously (they might after the destruction of the first few away teams) then they'd certainly try to eradicate, or at least contain the xenos.
And I'm pretty certain that ST has the best medical tech of the Big 3. If a crewmember gets infested, the doctors can just beam the egg out, and scatter its particles or delete it.
Also, if the prime directive stops the Feds, the Klingons or Romulans will certainly eradicate the xenos.
For SW: Xenos eradicated quickly. End of short story.
For B5: After a few scuffles, the B5 races take the xenos seriously and nuke the hell out of them. Or mass-driver the hell out of them.

It's over NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAND!!!!!!!!!

I was under the impression that the Klingons and Romulans were now part of the Federation. Though truthfully they would stop the Xenos, but still would make them hypocrites.Shinova wrote: *sigh*

The Klingons and Romulans are allies of the Federation, they sure as hell dont care about the prime directive. The Prime directive only applies to civs that are not actively trying to kill them, and once a civ knows about the Feds, the Prime Directive is now a moot point.
The Klingons were just allies? I thought they had left in DS9 but had rejoined.ggs wrote:wtf?neoolong wrote: I was under the impression that the Klingons and Romulans were now part of the Federation. Though truthfully they would stop the Xenos, but still would make them hypocrites.

And the thing about the Prime Directive may not apply. If it is a situation like LV-426 the Federation would be the intruders on what had become the xenos home. They would have already broken the Prime Directive by not finding them and colonizing it.

The stormies would kick alien ass. With built-in helmet sensors, armor, and weapons that can punch through just about any kind of armor, they would own the xenomorphs.

Star Wars? The Terran Dominion could own the Xenos.

SW Scenario 1: Depending of the value of and extent of damage to the colony or ship or what not, they either flood it with stromies or blow it to bits.
Scenario 2: Same thing as above.
ST
Scenario 1&2: Lets say they ignore the prime directive here, most likely they would have to destroy the ship after losing too many redshirts. I think phasers set to vaporize might give the Trek guys an advantage over the stormies, but thier lack of battle experience, and the grotesc maiming of their friends may be a little too much psychologiclly for them.

Welpers, assuming average traffic to and from the colony world in SW......the empire might just be screwed or atleast seriously hurting. If those Xenos get off planet on a shuttle.....or a average size ship.....then they could spread to other planets and infect more and more people and you'd have a plague of very bad ass creatures with sharp teeth and acid that has the tendency to burn through most types of material spreading to planets in the empire.....
And if even one got to Coruscant.....the possibility of what it could do are....rather frightening. Plenty of places to hide.....plenty of things to eat and impregnat.
