Darth Sidious vs. Guu

Post by Yogi »

At the end of Attack of the Clones, Yoda is tired of all the turmoil and takes a vacation on a faraway planet. As he'stossing down drinks in a bar, he strikes up a conversation with a young girl with pink hair. After paitiently listening to Yoda spill out all the troubles he's having, all she does is smirk.

"This might be fun." she says.

Yes, it's Guu-chan, from the anime "Jungle wa Itsumo Hale nochi Guu". And she is going up in a mind game against Darth Sidious.

Can Guu's infamous plot control powers thwart Darth Sidious from taking over the republic, or is Darth Sidious simply too good? Assume for purposes of this match that she will light up like a small sun if anyone tries to scan for a disturbance in the force.

Eating a guy infected with Dark Side power can not be good for your health. Guu spits him out a few seconds after swallowing him.

Guu seems to be better at malipulating cause and effect than Sideous, but Sideous has an established power base in the Republic. Also, Guu's opponent has mostly been a little boy in a backwater village on a backwater planet. This is a far cry from a Sith Lord pulling the strings of the entire SW galaxy.

Then again, Guu has never really been "out for blood" before. She could have easilly killed Hale sixty times over in each episode.

True. But the knife cuts both ways. While, we'd never seen her out for blood, we'd never seen what she's capable of. So, we're in the dark about the full extent of her powers.

We already know she has the ability to control the minds of entire villages, the ability to make it snow in the middle of the jungle (and other similar reality-altering feats) the ability to retroactively cause seemingly normal chains of events to happen, the ability to fire bullets with incredable accuracy, more strength than a bear, the ability to spit out an entire zoo of . . . things from her stomach, the ability to grow as big as a giant and swallow the an ocean, the ability to store things in seperate stomachs, the ability to transform into a cute form as well as an adult form, the ability to summon heavy objects to hit people with, and the ability to predict the best and worst course of action to take in order to solve a given problem.
