Perhaps the great powers of "teh tReknoBabl3 dune buggy" will level the playing field with ICS and 200GT turbolasers.

The only possibility of that would be through the Scimitar--if anything new is put up through that ship or how the E-E and its fellow ships deal with the Scimitar.
