Time Machine

If you could build a time machine like in Back to the Future what kind of vehicle would you build it out of?

M3A3 Bradley..... Wait until they try to take out the fuel tank.... Course getting it up to speed would be a problem. But that is what the hover option is for.

I'd want something with more armor. Maybe a Merkava that hovers. You get the ass-thick armor plus the extra room plus the hovering :D

Going to the future to get it hover converted may not ba a option. we don't realy know if the future has such tech. I would build it out of a Hummer. Its got all terain manuverability and can reach the needed speed. Has decent armor too.

Fine, screw the hover and the Merk. I'll take a M1A2.

I think a 1967 Cadillac seville would make all those futuristic honeys line up

I'd go with a Delorean, because they're really cool.

Personally I'd have to go for a lotus...espri or elan....there's something about the style of the lotus that appeals to me.
While I'm sure the bradley might be a good practical option for visting some of the more 'intresting' periods of history.....style is important too....just dont visit the middle of the battle of the bulge or anything and it ought to be fine....and the style will serve you far better on the pull.

A helicopter. That way I don't jump tp a new time, and find there's a solid object occupying the same space that in my time was empty.

Some big, no-nonsense SUV. That leaves plenty of room for the time travel equipment and emergency supplies, and it's a vehicle big and tough enough to take some rough treatment (won't help if I pop out of a time warp doing 88 miles per hour and hit a brick wall that was torn down in 1974, but it'll take more damage than a DeLorean).
