Tactical Slayer Challange

Another fun challange.

You are a watcher--but you are not that 'Stuffy' as most of them. You have been assigned your first Slayer.

The Slayer has several abilities:

Slayer Healing Powers: Buffy recovers from major injuries very quickly. Examples: She was partially drained and nearly drowned by the Master, yet after being resustiated, she was ready to kick his ass. She Also recovered quickly from being sucked dry by angel. After a transfusion and some rest, she was ready to take on a 60ft upper level Snake demon.

Super Durability: She's able to not only suvive but RUN away after falling 3 stories out a window. She's surivived being hit by a pickup-truck without a scratch. When fighting other slayers (Kendra, Faith) She only recieves some minor bruses.

Supernatural "Spider Sense": Isn't as reliable as Spidey's, but it does work

the ability to Learn their way around a variety of Weapons quickly.

Longjump: 157ft
Vert Jump: 25.5ft*
Running Speed: 69mph
Sprinting Speed: 126mph

What martial art would you have her train in?

What Weapons/armor would you provide her?

How would you turn the Slayer into the Ultimate Weapon against the forces of Darkness?

Only Limitation: Minimal Firearms -- They'd draw too much attention to her and, unless you can afford specially designed bullets, won't do squat but piss a vampire off (though some demon breeds would die from being shot).

I would train her in chinese Kung Fu, good stiking, fuid movement, and weapon proficiencies are mandatory. I would trian her in longbow, crossbow, halberd, rapier, longsword, greatsword, various typesof spears and polarms.

I would also teach her how to cast nifty spells of doom(Like Willow, but on crack with the offensive combat magic of mass destruction)

Slayer: Isn't this a little Heavy?
Me: It's lined with chain mail, and has room to conceal all of your weapons.
Slayer: I thought fire arms were a no-no (Pulling out a White Phospherous Gernade, and a shotgun)
Me: Actually, the Wood (Stake solid slug), & silver (Pieces or coins) loaded sawed off shotgun has been around since the 19th century?, a great deal of bang for the buck. Besides with the Long coat it eliminates most of the problems. Also Most Demons, Vampires & Were's don't like incindiaries.
Slayer: Chains?
Me: Mansu-gari
Slayer: So when does my training begin
Me: *turns on TV, pops in John Woo DVD, with Matrix, Crouching Tiger, a host of other action adventure goodness.

After all this training, the Throwing stars, the Katars, the Shotgun, the White Phospherous Gernades is there anything else you wanted to give me?

Me: I took this from Lucas's own secret storage faclities, I'm sure this will amp up your bad ass ness to unprecidented degrees.
Slayer: Oh wow, a real lightsa-urk

Me: Damn need to get a slayer that know which end is which....

Me: Now stretch your hands toward the target.
*Slyer reachs her hands toward a vampire shaped target*
Slayer: Ok what do I do now?
Me : now repeat after me Yobidai Midual Balkat speak the words from your diaphragm. upturn your palm, when the ball uf fire gets about the size of a basketball hurl it toward your target. Once you have perfected the spell, it will take as little as 30 seconds to complete.
Me: Yobidia Midual Balkat *upturns palm, fireball grows, and I hurl the fireball at the target. The fireball hits the target dead center and explodes in 20 ft radius.* If you are inside the blast radius you will not be harmed

*Slayer repeats the proceedure, but it takes her significanly longer*

Me: Now practice that spell, when you have perfected it. come back to me and I will teach you how to fly, and protect yourself from attacks

3rd Slayer:

Ok: Thse are your easily concealable weapons, Note the Cobra Baton, the Silverplated Chain Weapons, & the Bali Song Knives easy to hide, the knives are ballanced so you can throw them.

Note: Chainmail/Anti-Ballsitic Cloth Trenchcoat, fits perfectly with the Gorh style, has a nice Matrix look, and will protect you, besides, with your super human strength, you can wield this.

ok: The Shotgun, It's loaded with silver coins, use it as a weapon or last resort, against Werewolves, SOme demons, and Even Vampires aren't exactly going to like blessed silver ripping through them. The other load is lead weights and Pianowire, no it's basically going to keept them entangled and I don't care if thier undead ther will hurt after that hits them.

The Glock 10mm Red-eyes: Killing Demon's and some Zombies, but mostly for that under arm holster rig that looks so cool, besides we're under contract to have some sort of slow mo sequence each episode. Actually I replaced all of the bullets with Magnesium loads (Jaws2 style)

White Phosperous: Again Only use these when you have a group of Undead, Were's or Demons, and there aren't any innocents in the area. They continue to burn very nicely, Most Supernaturals Don't like fire:

Shotgun (loaded with silver/wooden shot).
Sword (preferably katana or lion-head sword with significant silver percentage alloy - most vampires and other critters are vulnerable to decapitation).
Numerous knives (again with silver alloy) secreted on person.
Supersoaker (for those vampires that have something against running water).
Supersoaker (with holy water).
Pistol (.50cal IMI-DE or similar with silver rounds - oh and thats two of em, one in each hand [of course]).
SMG (UMP45 or HK53 with silver rounds).
White Phos grenades.
Incendiary grenades.
Frag grenages (silver wire and wooden splinters).

Mission specific:
Satchel charges and mini FAE bombs for "nest-killing" missions.
Flamethrower.

Armour:
Top-to-toe ballistic armour (tailored)
Steel ballistic/stab plates (front and back)
Chainmail trenchcoat (Yosemite's idea)

Other tech:
Heartbeat sensor.
Those funky googles from Splinter Cell.
Fibre-optics.
Secure encrypted radio with headset.

Training:
Martial arts:
Hapkido,
Aikido,
Shoot-wrestling,
Brazilian Ju-Jitsu.

Other training:
Stuntman school.
Gymnastics.
Swimming.
Running.
Weights.

1. I'd have her train on most Chinese martial arts, also training with stakes, crossbow, and swords, after all, these are all she really uses.

2. Weapons wise, as Buffy seems to always be wearing not much in the way of clothing, I'd give her a basic stake, and possibly a crossbow if it can be concealed, and if possible, one of those spray-mace thing filled with holy water.

3. I give her lots of training, education etc, but give her access to some sort of personal life so she doesn't burn out.

Where does this info come from?

Extrapilation from basic numbers: 2.5 tons is cannon supported, as is vertical jumping height. sprinting speed is extraplated from these basic numbers.

I believe this is the subconciously inherited memories of the previous slayers. It was stated in the "Tales of the Slayer" comic and the Fray comic, and it also explains the dreams of previous slayers' deaths

In all seriousness, Aikido and Tai Chi for defensive capabilities, Moo Gi Gong and Kenjutsu for weapon techniques, Jujitsu for joint destruction, and Thai kickboxing for beating the shit out of people, and a Drivers License.

Equipment:
Three swords, one high-tech cutting implement, one of the best silver content practical, and one Cold Iron
Two magazine fed hand crossbows, one with no metal, the other with silver
Several wooden stakes, and a box of pencils
Super Soaker with holy water
At least one pistol with a license to carry, and a silencer.
Various cross motif jewelry
Chain mail and kevlar lined trenchcoat
Shinto Spirit Wards, and a can of salt
A hand radio to call for help with
Leather neck guard with packets of holy water sewn into it

Bingo, and the 25ft jump, that comes from the original shooting script for the first ep (scene had to be cut for budgetary reasons).


Other than those two, the only solid number we have is a 40mph running speed, which would not truely account for the other instances.
