Chintoka GCS Wreck: Not really a GCS?

Post by Moonshadow »

I DLed the Defiant Heaven vid clip and i noticed the GCS Wreck at Chintoka. I played the clip again and i noticed two Nebula Class ships at the begining. After studying my Nebula model the wreck looks like it could be the bottom section of a Nebula class ship. I haven't seen the episode in a while and the clip cuts off when the Defiant blows. Are the 2 Nebula class ships seen later on as survivors of the battle? I also didn't see a GCS in the begining of the Clip.

IIRC there were a few hundred Allied ships sent into battle. We only saw a handful in the one shot. Note that when the Defiant went into battle we only see it near Fed ships yet when its dying there is a Romulan ship near by. Its quite likely that a GCS could have entered range near the Defiant or was off angle in the camera.

but still it could have been one of the Nebula Class ships( sure they're one of the toughest ships In Starfleet and are rarely killed, but that crazy Breen Ion Cannon Wannabe weapon was used in the battle ) Also i noticed farther in the back ground one of the Wolf 359 Wrecks was seen ( i think it was the Buran)

Problem is the warp nacell connection to the secondary section fits the GCS design, not the Nebula design.
