Though, I'm vaguely curious to see whether he posts ever again on these forums, as he seemed to imply that he was done only with this topic.

Has he ever backed up anything he's said on the forum? I think he just got pissy in this thread because it was the first one where he actually tried to debate instead of posting and then running away, and he got his ass handed to him. I got the pretty strong impression that he ain't coming back.

No. A couple of months back, when he took exception to me pointing out that the Republicans have a lousy track record on terrorism, the best he did was throw flimsy tu quoques at the Democrats and declare that the Republicans were better for keeping us safe because he believed them to be. Which is pathetic because, I'll be honest, I was doing a shit job debating him.

In his mind, we are. A lot of people think that the only way to "properly" interpret what they say is to agree with it. Anything else is "twisting", even if all you're doing is pointing out flaws in his argument. Even if (as in this case) we are only reminding him of the dictionary definitions of the words he's using and how he's horribly misusing those words, he thinks we're "twisting" his meaning. Not once does it occur to him that his "meaning" is itself twisted.
