If this warship was on a formal mission on behalf of your polity, your statement that it was "not on a mission of subterfuge or aggression" vis-a-vis the United Solarian Sovereignty is clearly disengenious. If it was not, its crew was rogue and acting in clearly flagrant disregard of U.S.S. law. Either way, the apprehended crew will be prosecuted for these crimes, unless you present extenuating circumstances, which we -- with all due respect -- do not currently expect you to be able to do.

The Technocracy of Umeria expresses its best wishes for the success of operations against the Zebesian Pirates.

Due to logistics constraints, it is infeasible for the Space Security Force to detach heavy fleet elements against such a remote target. However, the Council of Technarchs has resolved to offer the support of an independent task force roughly equivalent in force to a System Control Group, consisting of two light cruisers, four frigates, and a reinforced complement of six cutter tenders carrying a combined small craft strength of 120 cutters, along with sufficient fleet train to maintain them on station for a period of up to four months.

The Ministry of Security proposes to load the tenders with a mix of:
-ELINT and hyperspace pursuit cutters, manned by crews experienced in shoal space conditions, to search for pirate bases in the area of operations, identify pirate forces in deep space, and engage them before they can pose a threat to shipping.
-Customs and fleet melee cutters for convoy escort or light antiship operations.
-Assault cutters carrying a Strike heavy infantry battalion and equipped for close air support of allied ground forces in the event that an assault against lightly defended pirate installations is called for.

Due to outfitting difficulties, the task force is not expected to be ready to depart until mid-May, and should arrive in Centrality space on or around June 1.

Naturally, the Umerian contingent will be relying on Centrality forces for support in the event that capital ships or large ground formations are needed.
