If you're talking about the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System, Raytheon lost the bid to BAE Systems a while back. As far as I know, the U.S. Navy and Marines now hold the contract, and they're still working on it.

Did any of the SDN World nations have a similar program going on, even if it was just running behind the scenes?

The trouble would be not everyone in the world uses Hydras. I guess it will be interesting, though whether it's worth the cost is another matter.

Tian Xia had been working on it even before the merger.

Oh, and by the way, just to avoid any confusion; there's alot of shit that a conventional military has that I haven't been able to include in the Miratian OOB or equipment list as of yet, and that's because I'm not a military expert, so I'm making this shit up as I go.

For example, I'm about to add a shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missile system similar to the FIM-92 Stinger.

I just figured I'd mention so you know that I'm not madly researching all this stuff. ;)

There's also a few rather gaping holes in my arsenal that should be obvious to anybody who knows, well, nearly anything about this sort of thing, so just keep that in mind when I add new stuff that looks like it should've been there to begin with.

Also, Miratia would like to make some San Doradan prostheses avaliable to Miratian citizens through their socialized healthcare system. I'm not sure how much we'd need to do that, though.

PeZook wrote:So for every MLRS heli, you could probably buy an entire battery of standard MLRS vehicles. Kind of like with the Archer, really.
Urgh, yeah. I built a squadron of them and then repurposed the assembly line out of disgust. To build Longbows, granted... But that was a failing on my part to realise that I could build something significantly larger and more capable. XD
On the other hand, firepower of small rockets scales up rapidly with numbers ; A Blackhawk with 4x30 = 120 Hydras can rapidly deliver what amounts to a massive mortar salvo with decent precision. By any standard, that's respectable firepower, especially for airmobile troops who are usually quite light on heavy support.
Hmm... they're rather short-ranged, but the laser-guidance would improve that, I suppose.

Depending on the number of people you want kitted out with augmetics you can either just send 'em up here and we'll take care of it, or we can work out some sort of deal so you can perform the surgery yourself.

Well that's the trick. I've no idea how to figure out what the rate of accidents resulting in amputation is for a population of some 8 million people... :P

Let's just say we worked it out? What could I do in exchange for that?

Landmines from Frequesue's frequently fermenting fucked-up wars. And lots of poisonous snakebites.

Along with lax factory safety standards?

And maybe some congenital deformities due to population chemical exposure.

Just edit yours and then copy/paste. But the default is some Rich Text editor thingy, so make sure you press the source button for Wikitext or it'll look weird.

You're welcome. :P

Anyway. Emmeria is coming along nicely. I just need to do the map when I get home, which may prove to be irritating because of the poor resolution quality of Marina's map.

And we've started our police action.

Imminent liberation by the Old Dominion. Just making a reason(for those of us who've been noticing off-hand remarks about the deathspiral of the Sirnoth economy.) Setzer said I could.

OK, I love the Wiki. I threw Canissia in there, cut and pasted from the ImperialWiki entry, although it doesn't seem to have carried over exactly. I'll tinker with it later.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
