Well, I'll do what I can to alleviate suffering in Astaria. I need air transports. We have to get medical supplies and NBC kits into the country. Steve, you did offer the use of your air transport fleet in repatriating freed slaves. Would you kindly lend some assistance to ensure they'll live to make it home again?

Pezook, Fingolfin, we need to throw up some kind of perimeter around Astaria, something to prevent further bioweapon attacks. I'll be sending my carriers and a supporting fleet out there if I can count on support.

EDIT: They will be in range in around four days. The LSD has two special NBC sealed helicopters aboard, where everyone will be loaded. They will then be moved to "quarantine vans" and spend two weeks there in semi-comfort, to make sure none of them caught Shepistani germs.

Defenses against aircraft won't stop submarines. Unless you're referring to shooting down missiles launched from Shep's subs.

I haven't compiled the FUN naval contribution yet. But my own navy is patrolling in force, and so far, all Shep's major bioweapon deployments have been aerial.

Shroomania's F-15s and F-16s matches Byzantium's Eurofighters and F-15s in number. So the SAF's got 36 F-16s and 36 F-15s, and 15 F-22s.

Side note: My taskforce is not going to be chugging at 20-30knots. More like 15 knots which is still silent speed. Along with ocean survelliance ships helicopters, we will be watching for anything coming within 50-100 km of the taskforce. Anything that comes too close will be gutted by ASROC, SUBROC, supercavitating torpedoes. I do deploy anti-torpedo defences too in the form of rockets + supercavitating torpedoes, decoys etc..

Astaria is more or less in lockdown, so as to more easily isolate and contain bioweapon attacks. Your hospitals really aren't in any great danger for now. When this is all over, security won't be an issue.

Don't deploy them that way. Deploy them together with ASW ships not far behind, with designated target areas.
