Some would fail, of course, and spray anyways, others would fail totally and just drift around, but most of those who missed would just drop their capsules into the ocean.

I guess that's why I had an LHD battle group doing nothing near Astaria, and loaded it with proper equipment necessary to safely extract my people ever since the Firebee drone spraying, huh? Or that Norseman went into lockdown smelling what was going to happen? Lots of people planned ahead here, some more competently than others. Many people just aren't clear on the finer details, hence why we get arguments over numbers, mostly. I'm sure that if Japanistan invaded me, there would be a similar series of posts to determine just how hard a guerilla campaign would be for them - and you couldn't say I didn't plan ahead for that: even my education system is part of civil defence and geared to breeding good healthy partisan material, after all. I will have to remind Shep that while his ICBM attack gets to stand (of course, with all the caveeats about Shep being unable to seriously damage the OC nations, led by the Slavic Confederacy, Canissia, IRT and just about everyone who heavily invested into ABM ) thus the damage from his attacks is limited to Southern Hemisphere (and even then, I think most people have at least rudimentary ABM systems, meaning many can down the one missie coming their way with an S-300 or Patriot battery)

But forwariding one year is against the rules - we already ruled once against time-forwarding, right . So Shep quit. His "1 year after" post is thus null and void.

Shep lobbed around 1 to 20 tons of bioweapons into each nation, but since the ballistic missiles are not floating and spraying weapons, the effect of Biowar could be prevented by either totally napalming or nuking the site of the ICBMs fall. And since Shep himself estimated the death of "5%" of population as the worst outcome for a nation with modern medical system hit with 1-2 tons of bioweapons, that's as much damage as he can hope to cause to modern nations with his crybaby attack.

Yopu know release your bio agents of doom but your subs are getting sunk. Part of the reason I've been shading some posts to indicate I have my own long distance patrols is to handle this. After you decided to fuck me over with your super uber subs of doom I've had one of my two fuckign SubRon's listenign for them constantly and since you decided to a) Give me a nice transient escaping your attack (before remembering that my SubRons are 8 ships and this translates to a 4 ship patrol) and b) Leave port in a rush giving me some nice exit transients.

In about five minutes your precious Jacks are about to be sunk. You don't get to fast forward a year in your posts just because you don't like what everyone else did. Now you get to feel what it is like to be Norseman in reverse.

Modern OTH ABM radars - like the kind we have in the Old Continent, and like Phong has - will notice the incoming BM at 5000-6000 km away. Meaning Shep's attack failed. And Shroomania itself is in the OC defensive envelope, not to mention own defenses.

The IRT and Old Continent at the very least soldier on bravely. And suddenly Shep thinks that he can overcome modern ABM systems with the long-range ICBM arsenal of ~200 when he finds out he's been tricked to enter the war with Astaria so that other nations can finish off the insane guy Stuart would have a laugh at this for sure.

When given the order to kill billions with bioweapons, it's not unconceivable that even the strongest and best conditioned people would break and go "fuck it". Especially since their choice is: launch our payloads and destroy the world, having nowhere to come back to after all is done, or surrender and live to a ripe old age in relative comfort. Oh no, the Jacks are under surface and I'm not giving them a chance to come up and strike. I've put the posts out there and if Shep wants to try some bullshit he can but each of his ships is getting hit by between 1 and 4 torpedoes with follow on strikes unless there is a confirmed kill. That's the strike order and down they go.

So Shepistan dies, and it's only survivors would probably simply say "fuck it".

Else, the Igo-26 requires to be at least 500 km close to launch - and if he's targeting inland, it means even closer. The CSR has hundreds of patrol boats and dozens of SSKs streaming the seas.

Considering Shep can't dedicate more than 1 boat to a nation, it's unlikely he would even manage to do it. Especially as he had to reload the boats from the Astaria venture, and replenishing the boats when you are at war is dangerous. Shepistan does not have floating submarine bases like my "VOLGA" so he can't re-plenish them at sea.

I've got three AEW&C stratellite constellations, fleets full of Aegis destroyers with SM-3s, five air defence groups stuffed full of every AA missile conceivable and dozens of fricking laser cannons set up to deal with exactly this sort of contingency, and I'm going to assume that the operators do their job and intercept whatever's coming our way.

EDIT: Scratch that, let's stick with PeZook's idea. The subs surrendered. Crisis over, and the world is a better place for it.

If you imported at least a few I.R.T. ABM-capable SAM batteries for your city (and you are a city-nation anyway), you should easily down the 1-2 missiles Shep could throw.

There's well ~100 nations in SDN world, and some have ABM shields which require more than 1 missile to pierce. And four continents, meaning 25 missiles against each continent at best.
