Well I"m working on writing up my OOB and have some of it up now and hopefully the rest will be up tonight. I plan on locating my nation far from anyone else (and paying the barbarian points necdesay to do so) but the human factions closest to me are going to be important, as those are the ones that the militarists want to attack to relclaim lost territory. So, who wants to be close to me ?
Also, The Melconian Star Empire (who can tell me what universe that name comes from?) would be looking really hard at an alliance with the Camaran Exedus. Us aliens got to stick tgether against human agression after all.

Hmm we should talk sometime indeed.
What sort of appearance do the Melconian ships have?
General Aesthetics and colourscheme would be nice. I try to make sure i've done one ship for each star nation.

Details such as ship types and appearance are all being worked out. The Melconians generally follow the brutally efficient design philosophy for their ships though.Darkevilme wrote:Hmm we should talk sometime indeed.

So slabs of armour, big guns and angular edges yes? Ancient brown metal a good colourscheme for you?

One half of the fleet, you've fighting 500 points with 1000 ish points of your fleet and 690 points of second fleet helping. What do we have to hold your hands as well so you dont get scared? you outnumber them 3 to 1 gawds. And first fleets drones and guided munitions are with you as well, for what they're worth.
Edit: Melusine is going to stop the pitterpatter of bombs on Quixa just so ya know. Although come to think of it 690 points of ships was a bit much for that, last edit i swear to god. I'm sending amore reasonable force to quixa.

Bombarding with a paltry force. They have shields for the cities so its taking a lot of effort for them to destroy them....the biosphere such as it was is probably seven shades of stomped on by now though.

Just to addendum this is the serious callers only clause. Had you sent 400 points of ships to a 4 point world you'd be home for tea by now.
And the post has been edited, sorry for the mess but i'm not having Retcons result in unbelievalbe stupid/crazyness on the Chamarans part. A single squadron of cruisers is going to Quixa now.

Stick yourself wherever, if there is a problem we can fix it before you become active. You can also build your six hundred points if you want. It'll be a good reason for you to come off the reservation.

I think you could probably just put the additional ships into your OOB since you weren't around during turn one, and therefore aren't really adding points to an already extant fleet, rather you start with a fleet of x size and it's just assumed you've been busy in your own patch of space. (so like other factions who haven't lost a planet, you would now have a fleet of 2,600 points...I could be wrong about this though)Raj Ahten wrote:Got a question for you all: about when should I start posting about my factions actions? Once my faction description is completed in the OOB? Should I declare what my construction is for this coming turn?
On that note, I'd like to ask if we're expected to amend our OOBs to reflect what has happened during the previous turn. Additionally I'd like to ask that anyone who hasn't posted a list of planets/stations/bases in their OOB do so between now and turn two...it's kind of hard to decide what to do when I don't even know where I can send ships.

Alright I'll put in six hundred points into the OOB for last turn, try and finish it up, and perhaps even post something in the main thread today. Diplomacy mostly.Ohma wrote:I think you could probably just put the additional ships into your OOB since you weren't around during turn one, and therefore aren't really adding points to an already extant fleet, rather you start with a fleet of x size and it's just assumed you've been busy in your own patch of space. Edit:
Here is what I purchased on turn one if we decide to let me do that:
2 Admiral Voth Class Cruisers 54pts.
2 Echo Station Class Light Cruisers 42pts
2 Spirit class Destroyers 20pts
6 Captain N'tan class Destroyers 180pts.
4 Council Class Cruisers 180pts.
2 Emperor II Class battleships 110pts.
For a total of 586pts.
Something else I really need to know before I get started is where the Meconian Star Empire is located. My basic strategic goal would be to retake the Melconian homelands (or at least part of them) so which human faction controls them would be really imporatant. Any volunteers?
