Now it's 7 versus 2.
The new time limits are enacted for this year only; if they fail to satisfy, they will be changed again by this really simple popular vote.

Well Lonestar, I'd like to place an order for two of those ships we've discussed for Indhopal. Would delivery over the next two years work for you? That would pretty much be the only major order for my military for quite some time, the rest of my force will pretty much stay static. Supersonic jets are pretty much out of my pricerange for the time being.

Is it alright for say Byzantium to showcase some of its own products?Stas Bush wrote:the Red Technocracy is considering to have a very huge TRADE FAIR this year to commemorate OMSK, and the Gen Secs' wedding anniversary too
I'm accumulating data. I'll probably also post this arms and civil technology fair into the RT reference post so that people can see what they can buy from me!

Now the intel on the pirate bases is out there, to a few people anyways. As far as contracting with the Iron General goes, ProTec is very leary of it. In previous contracts, the men trained were basically used for death squads. Besides its not like moving conflict diamonds is that easy, or good for your reputation. Only by giving up the pirate bases (which ProTec really want to find, so they can get a big payout in cash and reputation from clients) was he able to get the aircraft and training for his men that he really wanted. Even then, he didn't get all that he wanted, and ProTec is keeping a close eye on his operations. If they cross the line into ethnic clensing or somesuch, they intend to cancel the contract. Not that any other nations would know this of course.
Edit: Oh, and BTW PeZook, your pics of people being arrested are always awesome. Also, libertopians have frigates? Perhaps ProTec should steal some for their own use.....

I am in favor of this slowdown too. I didn't even have time to work out my budget for last year(i really need help with that) and it's already new year.So far 4 members have voted in favour of slowdown.
Let's try 1 MONTH = YEAR over the next month and think about how that was afterwards. We can always scale time back up or further down if we need to.

If you want armed subsonic planes, I've got a great deal on T-6 Texan IIs. Air combat is contraindicated, but light attack and training are good.Raj Ahten wrote:Well Lonestar, I'd like to place an order for two of those ships we've discussed for Indhopal. Well, ProTec could provide professional security services for your nuclear program for reasonable rates.Crossroads Inc. wrote:Ok, so it's a new year and a new budget.. and I need to actually buy a few things that ive bneen 'saying' ive got. Well, I could build you PWRs if you really want cheap ones. The FBR I am building is going to be done by mid year so we can also supply you with some uranium as part of the package.Crossroads Inc. wrote:Ok, so it's a new year and a new budget.. and I need to actually buy a few things that ive bneen 'saying' ive got. Plus, given the close distance, transport and stuff should be cheap, and given that you are an OMSK member, we could toss in a 20% discount.

Yeah, I think I may be interested in a destroyer or cruiser, just so I can have something with a bit of kick. How big is the destroyer you are selling, Mr Wilkens, I don't want to kill my budget too much, I still have to give a chunk of it for the nuke plant

Actually, given your size, you might want a mid-range destroyer instead of a large one. Something like the La Fayette. I don't produce that though (though within my capabilities).Redleader34 wrote:Yeah, I think I may be interested in a destroyer or cruiser, just so I can have something with a bit of kick. Yeah. Also, if I payed now for one of those fancy new Jet Boat Transports, how long until it could form a part of my merchant fleet? I am doing accounting, so it would be good to estimate the arrival of my new travel fleets.

The BLACK SORMOVO can supply passenger hydrofoils, passenger hovercrafts and passenger glissers in the course of one year.Redleader34 wrote:Also, if I payed now for one of those fancy new Jet Boat Transports, how long until it could form a part of my merchant fleet?
A-90 Orlyonok ekranoplans in either Cargo or Passenger, or the Military Assault variants can be supplied within 1 year. KM-class Ekranoplans in either Cargo or Passenger varieties can too be supplied within 1 year.
Lun-class Ekranoplane is not yet finished construction, and such a toy would cost you $50 million if you would order one, but is constructed within a year too.
Also, your pilots would need to train flying Ekranoplans if you want to mass-use them, so the Black Sormovo STRIZH-1 comes handy as a trainer! Only $100 K and it's yours.
Black Sormovo a powerful factory and it's intentions are to dominate the transportation market. And Alexeev is far from "crazy" his a brilliant engineer. In reality he managed to dominate the world hydrofoil market with the Raketa type hydrofoils and it's derivative families. Here, the Ekranoplanes can rise because distances are short and seas are calm

I will formally place the order for all 10. Will it be alright to send my pilots to train at your fighter pilot school?RogueIce wrote: General Deathdealer
Sure. Want all ten? That's about 640 million USD, though I'll knock it down to 600 million USD since you're a MESS member.
Selling 10 almost-new F/A-18Es for 600 million USD may sound insane, but they were my Q-equipped aircraft anyway. So I don't think it's that big a deal. Still, if anyone else wants them I'm still taking bids up to when the contract with Baal is signed.
Remember, they were Q-spawned so the price can be pretty reasonable. And you don't need to buy all 10, either (if Baal wants all 10 but someone else wants some, I can always supply him later; I'm building more F-35Cs after all).
EDIT: I forgot, but I vote in favor of the time slowdown.
