Basically the Kh-45 can be but the bomber has to be heavy. The AS-19 is currently probably beyond your bomber's weight capacitys...
Kh-45 was quite big, about 4,500kg. I’ve also seen wildly conflicting reports placing its speed as being anything from a mach 3 level cruiser to a mach 7 aero-ballistic missile. The former seems more likly given that it was a 1960s project killed off in the 1970s. Warhead was to be 500kt.

AS-X-19 Koala /P-750 Grom/3M25A Meteorit-A/Kh-80 or which ever name someone wants to use, is however known to be 6,300kg (unknown if this is the weight of the ground or air launched version) and well within B-56 weight limits, assuming only one missile per plane on the centerline. I also happen to be using is myself for Japanistani Yankee Sidecar class SSGNs. 5000km range ( flight tests reached only 3000km before it was canceled) with two nuclear warheads (total warhead package was 1000kg but that includes a system to eject them at two different targets) and mach 2.5 cruise speed. A conventional anti ship version would probably be shorter ranged but with a heavier warhead. I’ve yet to exactly define what the Japanistani P-750 clones specifications actually are however. The main platform was to be the Tu-95 with one missile under each wing.

AS-X-21/Kh-90 is also quite big and is somtimes said to be 10,000kg. I don’t think anyone really knows anything for real about its specifications though, what little information has come out doesn’t distinguish between the Kh-90 military missile and the GELA testbed. its almost certain that it does in fact cruise at mach 4-5 though, but for how far and with what warhead is unknown)

Anyway, one of any of these missiles should be within B-56 weight limits (25,000lb payload), but it will have to be carried externally on the centerline with some kind of adaptor va. the bomb bay. Rather like the way Tu-22M carries Kh-22 on the centerline.

The Most Serene Republic of Ninhursag will dispatch several scientific teams, including an environmental survey team, to join the Zorian expedition. These personnel will only be provided small arms for defense but will otherwise be unarmed and unescorted unless requested.

Alright, But just to remind you that Zoria does have a full Cohort (640 personnel) of Royal Zorian Marines there for defense. Arming Scientists is fine, Each Zorian Scientist is trained in the usage of sidearms and PDWs and is generally carries a pistol when going outside the base.

I doubt my neighbors are going to take a Shepistani airbase well, so I'll look for other solutions *runs several options around* or I'll just stick with Livorno.

After all, I still can exert heavy pressure on the PRSF as it requires my economic aid.

What about a small naval detachment in one of your bases for reprovisioning my SSANs/DDGs?

Is Beowulf willing to engage a carrier battlegroup which really has nothing to lose and basically abandoned port?

As a side note, politically I think PRSF Navy elements, especially the carrier battlegroup (not that they have anything else, really, just this one group) will be reluctant to join the FTO who were hostile to the PRSF in the first place.

Shepistan is a more likely destination for rogue PRSF military.

Hey, that works.

Sort of a mutual replenishment base agreement.

I won't let that shit slide, Beowulf. Just after I refuse to directly annex them because I feel it's "unfair", and say that the SNC will handle their demilitarization, you jump in.

Sorry, but peace doesn't work that way either.

Of course, the PRSF now has little choice in the matter, and it's under Marina's control anyway, but I'll remember that. Oh I will.

P.S. PRSF vessels should be not heading to unsafe ports, Shep and Klavo seem to be okay for giving them a base of operations, so... ;)

P.P.S. Shepistan's reaction is welcome.
They didn't even try to negotiate terms. There's a reason why I left it open at the end. The apparent response of the junta was to give in to the admittedly overly strict demands, then lose control of portions of their military. Not the sign of the most stable ruling organization. Of course, they did pull off a coup only a week before hand.

Looking at the wrong place man.... THere are actually 2 parallel programs. Not least, the ultra sensitive stuff is done somewhere stuffed in the mountains of Anatolia, or in CSR for that matter.

They didn't even try to negotiate terms.
Yeah, because my Navy left and so Marina (correctly) decided they'd give in.

Unless I removed my ships, you'd be talking otherwise.

So my next move is - CSR ships never leave port on the whining of some insignificant nations. That's for the FTO.

As for the junta, I'm afraid I'll have to deal with such a breach of trust once the whole brouhaha ends.

The PRSF will be forcibly annexed to the CSR and become a DPRK-like militarized outpost in Frequesque. There's nothing you can do to stop it.

Well the buzzkill isn't exactly ultra secret. There was a press release about the thing after all. I'm not attempting to steal nuclear secrets or something crazily secret like that, just a weapon system that is nearing deployment (for Shroomanian subs, so people in shroomania would know about it. I don't have to steal the specs directly from the research facility.) Besides, leaks can happen. NOD apparently knew all about my operation somehow, and unless it was just a set up by them (I doubt my guys are stupid enough to trust a random source without verification) it is feasible that the ISIA could have found someone to buy the missile plans from.

It's not like it would remain secret that Indhopal stole the plans anyway once the missiles start showing up in their stocks. Also, I have to show my Intel agency is fairly competent and fairly rogue somehow.

We announced ours, but we aren't saying where it is. All of it is as secret as we want it to be.

So does that mean by saying a project is secret no one else's Intel agency can figure out where something is and/or steal something :? ? I started with this whole stealing missiles operation last year in game and kept it vague (Basically I said Indhopal was after the plans and that I was getting close to getting a hold on them. There was no reaction from the FUN’s Intel services at that point.) Since your program is secret as a player I have no clue where to send my agents. I am not an intelligence agency though. Supposedly my men would know the best way to try and steal missile plans. Just how is spying supposed to work then?

Edit: my timeline on the operation may be off a bit but I know I did say Indhopal's intel agency was putting a major effort into infiltrating other governments in year one.

I was thinking about maybe buying a couple of Amphibious BMPs (or other such Amphibious APCs) for the Scientific Outpost in Velaria, as they might be usefull given the Rivers and potential risk to our brave Scientists for gun armed natives.

Well, I guess some degree of espionage can be done, like attempting to get pics/satellite pics of tests. I believe the US did a fair bit of that.

Of course, there is the issue of ... having women work their way into the pants of the researchers and that will be an issue.

But, like they say, a lot of things in the US are awefully transparent. But if it is secret, they will make it secret. Not even the US was fully aware of Russian capabilities until the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Also, you might note that a lot of the meetings were marked top secret, as posted in the thread.

Hopefully Beo won't fuck things up any more.

Vohu Mahah: I'll send the necessary diplomats. Just write the post on the visit. Doesn't matter the timing. It's as elastic as it has been, anyhow.

And PeZook, I guess the meeting is over?

And Stas, check PMs.
