Launching a coup in the Caymans? With Wilkens right next door watching? Unless he's going to offer his own support to the coup... :?
I ship Eino Ilmari Juutilainen x Lydia V. Litvyak.

So launching a coup in territory within long range arty distance of parts of my country? Given that everything is for sale in the Caymans it should take me...oh about 20 minutes to figure this out :D

Sounds like a setup for a MESS peacekeeping mission to me.

Calm down guys, this thing is in the planning stages right now.

Though yeah, we may, erm..."arrange" for conditions to become suitable for a MESS peacekeeping operation, if your guys are interested :)

Totally deniable, of course.

Why don't we (i.e. you) guys not try creating an international fracas right next to the border of one of the world's biggest military alliances for the sake of shit and giggles? Newspaper caricatures of MESS guys captioned going on about "SNC Threat!" won't be as catchy or amusing as the ones from Game 1 with "OMSK Threat!" captions. :P

Yeah, it's a dumb idea anyway. We (you guys) don't need to agitate the MESS or piss them off needlessly by going around them and doing things without asking their permission as an informal courtesy. Besides, isn't Byzantium still in the MESS?

What's in an island full of homos and a Tsar? If you go by the Shroomanian Suggestion, we'd have SSS guys have the Tsar killed and make it look like he was accidentally raped in every hole of his body. By his son.

We are in the MESS, with substantially reduced participation, i.e. we are happy to indulge in joint projects, but foreign policy is not strictly following general MESS policy.

Siege

The name of the sub you got was almost certainly Unseen or Upholder, not High-Falutin'. :)

Karmic, Siege, I'm coming to the conference. But it needs a more reasonable name, like "Frequesquan Defence Conference", or something.

Because the Caymans are within long range arty distance of parts of Wilkonia.

Honestly the MESS as a whole isn't interested, Wilkonia is interested in and of themselves. The Caymans basically serve as a neutral waypoint for trade with the IRT. Since Wilkonia and the IRT have a long history of animosity if not neccesarrily outright violence it has made sense for corporations to route business dealings through the Caymans to avoid pesky oversight issues. For both sides since the money, often as not, still winds up back in the state coffers of the IRT and Wilkonia the authorities are iwlling to look the other way at the remainder of the corruption and greed central to the Caymans.

That said virtually every person who can make a dime on those islands knows that one or both of those naitons would come down like a hammer if they actually tried to steer a course towards independent relations. The hodge-podge of government essentially serves as dual-client state of the IRT and Wilkonia. So anyway a revolution would certianly have a fair chance of getting off the ground (since the average citizen lives in poverty while the rich get richer off international trade) but any hint of disruption in the status quo is almost certain to bring about Wilkonian intervention and possibly IRT intervention as well.

Now Shinra, TX, Alaska, and Cascadia all would have lesser interests but would still take notice of actions on those islands. The OD, Canissia, and Byzantium couldn't give two shits less.

How much would it cost to bribe some delegate to make a motion to officially change the name of your continent to "The Goddamn Fucking Continent"?

If you really wanted to add insult to injury, you should ask Shroom to give them a name.

Alright, since Siege already bought two of Lonestar's Scorpènes, I'd like to buy the other two for the same price that Siege paid for his.
I ship Eino Ilmari Juutilainen x Lydia V. Litvyak.

Since the official name is "Frequesque" now, and we all use "Goddamn F-ing Continent" anyway, presumably we could change the official name and then use the former one as slang? I like this plan... :D
