Is the untamed continent Australia + something?

It really reminds me of Australia.

It's a mashup of Australia and India :D

And, Marina: Just tell me what to incorporate, and you'll have a cleaned-up labelled map by Monday afternoon. Or tomorrow, but that depends on my wife :D

Split the difference between the size of Sequesque in your map and mine, take my version of the New Continent but arrange it in the same place as on your map, with the islands; take my Antarctic and Arctic continents, and my size for America+Tonkin continent and the Old Continent. Use your unclaimed continent, but add about 20 -- 23 small nations along the borders; 8 will be colonial territories and the rest will be post-colonial shitcanistans, with the interior being vast jungles and deserts with no properly delineated borders and a bunch of savage tribes.

That, then, will be the final map, once we add some more island chains.

I'd again like to bring up the idea of island chains and even an archipelago between the 5th Continent (the "savage one") and MESSamerica. I'm willing to produce partial histories for local polities (as I intend for Cascadia's overseas interests, the reason for the Cascadian fleet, to be such economic interests. Though this worked a lot better when the New Continent with Shep and Lonestar was south of Tonkin).

Ahh.... Sea-faring nation, yeah right. When I was a kid, I was throwing rocks into a pond full of crabs. I forgot to let go of the rock and I fell in and nearly drowned.

My momy saved me. But I've hated the sea ever since.


Anyway, I like Frequesue's position in Marina's map. South West of the "Untamed Continent". But your map has an entire ocean separating the Untamed Continent from the Old Continent and Japanistan, and that's cool too.

I don't think the Frequesue players will like being anywhere near Japanistan and Shepistan, so... (but I'm sure Siege would not be adverse to selling stuff to either one!)

Mighty moderator, can we also get a population increase to correspond with our size/landmass increase? I mean, a Tsardom's economy is equivalent to that of Germany or something. Ideally, so should it's population.

Germany has 82 million... Germans.

France has 64 million Frenchmen.

I think it'd be cool if the "Indian" portion of the Dark Continent was a China-style Empire where, early in the 20th Century, various civilized powers had to participate in a variation of the relief of the Legation at Peking.

Unfortunately, based on how it's desired to be, the thing is basically a giant Papua New Guinea.

As originally envisioned the continents are nothing of the sort, just large islands, separated by huge oceans that would make power-projection more or less impossible. We can shrink your nation relative to the others?

Why the hell are we changing anything, I cannot see any logic behind this, a full sized global is the only thing that makes any sense, and nations could still be clustered together if that’s what people want, call it the remnants of Pangaea. What because someone asked for more land at the last minute? After a full MONTH of planning and debate?
