Hmmm not exactly what I was expecting, but I've already figured out how to turn the events from your Hanson story into something I can use to mirror the original Homeworld game. This is gonna be fun!

Hell, don't take that image too seriously; I chose a vague-looking one on purpose. I may still switch it up if I can find something I like better (finding decently utilitarian-looking warships is a royal pain).

I wonder if the God Emperor will still want to use Elysians as new recruits for the Atartes, they might hold a naked parade through the capital rank on rank, file on file of rigidly stiff soldiers marching through the streets in honor of their God Emperor.

Gentlemen, BEHOLD! Ace Combat shenanigans! :D

My German could definitely use some work, though, and I'm not even sure if that's how you say "New Craiova" in proper Romanian. And yes, I mashed up the Hresvelgr with the Arkbird. In any case, just something to pass the time while I try to straighten out those negotiations with the Solarians and Chamarrans...
I ship Eino Ilmari Juutilainen x Lydia V. Litvyak.

Man, Ace Combat seems like a connecting feature of all SDNWs :D

Q must be extremely amused by that fact :P

If you're looking for something to write, we want to see Empress Haruhi herself! :P

And ooooh, I wonder who this Mr. Sulejmani is....
"The 4th Earl of Hereford led the fight on the bridge, but he and his men were caught in the arrow fire. Then one of de Harclay's pikemen, concealed beneath the bridge, thrust upwards between the planks and skewered the Earl of Hereford through the anus, twisting the head of the iron pike into his intestines. His dying screams turned the advance into a panic."'

Heh. Though to tell the truth, I'd think the role played by giant aerial gunships in Ace Combat would go to Light/Medium starships here; once you're committed to building something that big, there's no reason not to make it hyper capable so you can use it on more than one planet without taking it apart and putting it back together.

Then again, maybe that WAS a Belkan light starship design... they could have fleets of the things! :D

I suspect by this point that the perversity is hardwired into their genes, like that of Shroomanians. And we know what happened when you tried to make Shroomanian Space Marines...

Then again, you might just get the Iron Snakes. I dunno.

One shouldn't underestimate Shroomanians. Everybody does because they assume their soldiers will just break into a homoerotic song-and-dance routine at the slightest provocation, but then you wake up and your entire camp is tied up and bent over while the Shroomanians you laughed at hover ominously behind you and your buddies...

Well, there's always need for contrarian Astartes. They could become infiltrators, or something in some of the more secretive Astartes armies, like the Grey Knights or DeathWatch.

You just need to press one wrong button and *boom*, the kindly slightly eccentric guy of questionable sexual orientation turns into a violent psycho! :D

That's how Shroomanians make their commandos. Completely true!

Oh, I'm not laughing at them. I'm just saying they're totally insane.

Elysians are, if anything, a more extreme variation on the same general theme.

[notes that the Elysian naval anthem probably translates as "In The Navy..."]

It was probably returned sometime in March or April 3400. I just haven't posted such. :P

Almost done. May finish this evening, with the boarding of the station by a joint Umerian Strike/Centralist Marine force.

After that I'll write a scene trying to encourage the Commune to accept some kind of settlement on the whole "planets in the space between us" issue that involves less scorched earth, though that would be set back in March or April.

I also want to focus back on the Geppetto storyline I dropped earlier.

I've got some more plans in mind for Sector H-12, but they can stay on hold for a while. I hope no one minds my hoping to turn this into an extended campaign rather than something that can be decided in a single easily-fought battle.

Dude, we mutilated pretty much every sci-fi franchise there is...and you expected fanboy rage for an innocous reference? :D
This is SDN, after all. If there isn't fanboy rage, something is wrong. :D
