Just come across this forum and have to say ur modelling of those all those ships is awesome!!!

I am curious tho as to what pc specs you are running in your technological terror of a rig you must have to create such detailed behemoths of destructive power?

That's the plan, though if you've been following the thread I tend to work in bursts, so this might not be the next thing to be done.

@ECR:
I can make the bow pointy, but then I'd have to increase the length to keep the same hull extensions. What if I cut away at the structure like on the Secutor, mount the turrets similarly to that?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this one, I had a story segment nearly ready and I was trying to get everything done at once. The Secutor solution would produce a more sharply tapering-in in the final stage, basically shovel-nosed bow, yes?

Sounds good.

Dude, Factal has, you know, a life and a job and stuff, he'll get back to modeling when he gets the chance.

If you're in a hurry, I suggest learning to model and doing it yourself. He's under no obligation to drop everything and work on this just because you want to see more ships faster, unless of course you're paying him - which I sincerely doubt.

This is not really an art update, but a heads-up in case anyone is wondering: updates will be extremely slow for a while. Having a new baby boy in the family will do that. When I do get back into it, finishing touches and a gallery for the lambda and the corvette (plus a name for the latter) will likely come first. Till then, I might be lurking for a bit.

So everything takes a bajillion times longer since my free time has been crunched so badly, but I did manage to finish off the shuttle and get a gallery up - enjoy:

Hmm is this a "what can I extrapolate from this" sort of thing/ because looking at that screams "joint" of some sort, like an At At. The only other thing that cmes to mind is some sort of wierd Radiator.

Good guess, but it looks more like the characteristic wheel of a Clone Wars era HAVw Juggernaut.
There should be an official metric in regard to stupidity, so we can insult the imbeciles, morons, and RSAs out there the civilized way.
Any ideas for units of measure?

This could be the most one-sided fight since 1973 when Ali fought a 80-foot tall mechanical Joe Frazier. My memory isn't what it used to be, but I think the entire earth was destroyed.

Impressive for just a wheel so far, its amzing how much detail you can get :D
Curious though, this may be an interesting challenge, since you won't be able to re-use stuff from your starships like in the past. How much do you think is going to have to be from scratch for this?

Forgot to reply to this - probably most of the model will be from scratch. Shouldn't be a problem.

Eyeballed the proportions for the hull, made some modifications to the suspension to be closer to reference.
