So up to now the usual suspects?

I heard Obama has a pretty solid looking lead in New Hampshire (over 60%).

As usual, my polling station had a grand total of a four-person-deep line. Perhaps this is the consequence of assigning polling stations by geographical area and not population count.

Just voted for Jill Stein in RI. No line at all, in and out in five minutes. Had 7 parties on the ballot here, including the Socialism and Liberation Party, an apparently self-proclaimed Marxist-Leninist Communist party, whose presidential candidate is 28 and therefore ineligible, and whose vice presidential candidate was born in Colombia and is therefore ineligible. Uh-huh.

25 minute wait to vote this time - which is about twice what I've had in the past. I wouldn't read anything into it because there were half the number of poll workers than two years ago.

Obama on the other hand , while charging for premiums, allows credentialed reporters are granted access, which includes a workstation, electrical power and a wireless Internet connection, at no cost.
Also surprising, to me at least. I thought the Republicans would want to spread their message on left-leaning networks.
Ah, but you can't let freeloaders get services at no cost, right? FREE MARKET! PRIVATE INDUSTRY! PROFIT! PROFIT! PROFIT!

I don't find it surprising at all.

Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. So far MSNBC's website has Ohio rather firmly in the Romney camp (61%) which is odd. Then again, I only have online sources so maybe its different elsewhere? And it is too early to call still...

Pay attention to which counties are reporting. Cities are good for Democrats, empty country side for Republicans. Ohio hasn't reported in from an urban area yet.

61%? Considering all previous numbers, this one can hardly be taken serious.

Like I said, 'so far' :P

I've been looking closer at the more contested states, so I hadn't checked the detailed map yet. Thanks for the heads up.

Romney called for Georgia.

And yes, pay attention to what counties are reporting. SC may be a Romney win but the numbers are higher for Obama.

You're not the only one reading this thread.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

I voted early on Friday. In Texas, but I still voted for Obama. It was electronic machines with a rotation wheel that lets you select the candidate. Each booth had a sign informing the voter that it was NOT a touchscreen.

At this point I'm just hoping for a clear win so we don't have to go through the happy horseshit we had in 2000 in any shape or form.

I voted for Obama on the way to work this morning, around 8:40 AM. There was no line, though there were a couple of people already in voting booths, and I was in and out in less than five minutes. Like every other time I've voted, it was a Scantron with an included privacy folder.

Voted around lunchtime, same type of machine as the reddit user who had difficulties. No issues one my end, though I voted a straight ticket. The wait time was less than 5 minutes.
