Bisphenol A has been suggested as a possible cause for prostate cancer, by affecting fetal development. Birth control hormones have also been linked in a similar way.

If this study is accurate, I'm doubly screwed because a) dollars to donuts, my mom had some sort of canned food when she was pregnant, and b) she became pregnant with me while she was on the pill.
