Just a suggestion: I don't think you should call it ChamCamo, or whatever, because chameleons don't actually camoflauge themselves with color changing. Variations in pigmentation indicate their mood.

There are, however, various cuttlefish or squid and octopi that can change colour to match their surroundings. But "squid cam" just sounds silly. I'd stick with therm-optics, or active camo.
