Nervous tics

Post by Dooku's Disciple »

I seem to have developed a slight twitch in my right hand, which I would like to believe has more to do with the stress of an impending Masters submission date than any cerebral palsy related symptoms. My dexterity isn't quite 100% but I've never had any sort of tremor before. Is it reasonable to hope this will go away of its own accord after I don't have to panic about deadlines anymore?

Fortunately I'm left handed :).

Tic's usually start up due to stress, I have had a dozen over the years, just have someone tell you when you start doing it unconsciously and try to control it, if it's beyond your control then ask a doctor.

One: Try to become more active. Working out or something will most likely help.
Two: You can try tonic water, as that supposedly supresses most tics. Tastes nasty though.
Do not meddle in the affairs of insomniacs, for they are cranky and can do things to you while you sleep.
