Simple: What's a graser? It seems related to laser and maser weapons... but that's all I know. I seek enlightenment.

Abbreviation for gamma ray laser, I believe. Same principle as a visible-light laser, just a lot more energetic.

Assuming you have the means to focus gamma rays coherently, a nuke would be needed to fuel the lazer. Effectively, you'd have a nuclear blast at the firing point, and a less efficient nuclear blast at the target. Double your pleasure, double your fun...

A graser is a gamma ray laser, then what does the "t" in taser represent? Another dumb question for you.

IIRC, it's X-Ray lasers that require a nuclear blast. Scientists aren't certain, but they think they can generate a graser without a nuclear explosion.
