Crazies at college

Post by Admiral Johnason »

Anyone who has been to a college in southern Louisiana will know what I am talking about. There is a goup in this area of the country called Consuming Fire Fellowship, an ultra-right wing group of Christians with no learning what so ever. They live in a compound from what I have heard and homeschool their children. They preach only sin and hate and a general love of hate, but are not racists (they have several black members, ntu they use the exact vereses that David Duke, aka dickless assface, liked to use.) they are extemely anti-gay, anti-woman, anti-catholic, and anti-anything that has any form of life that the Bible doesn't repeat three or four times. they are the only group I have personally heard group Catholics, homosexuals, Mormons, pro-choice, military personel, Muslims, Jews, atheists, and baptists as dammed. I debate these bastards everytime they show up, going so far as to though the King James Bible in their face (the only one they believe is real) and show them 20 verses that blast away these junior high flunktards, and then they just keep going after I have shown them that they are the real dammed. I feel sorry for the kids they bring along on their field trips, because when they get in my face I utterly destroy their concept of reality by actually telling them real history and showing them where their own book tells them to shut up.

Now I go to LSU and they are from southern Miss, so I just want to say that this has nothing to do with Ole Miss (*beep* them.) I am also Catholic (liberal and progressive) and a proud liberal American.

Their attacks are now focused on God's wrath on the people of Louisiana through Katrina (which damaged the home of several family members who came to live with me for a week and went home to make repairs) and Rita due to New Orleans's sin (appearently the Bible has something against revelery as it exists for a religious holiday) and Louisiana being a Catholic friendly state. Now, recently, their attacks have taken a violent streak towards the US, going so far as to say that the US should burn in Hell and they have gone on to support several, shall we say, subservise tactics towards the government. Now I want to ask the question, at what point does Freedom of Religion become subversive, especially in a time of war? Are these people violating the law or does the Constitution actually protect fuckers like this who advocate the death of my country due to the love of Christ? Finally, should we just leave these dangerous fundies alone in hope that a lack of attention will cause them to leave or activly argue back so to show them that they can't get away with their bull and keep gaining strength.

I believe that as long as they don't pose an immediate danger, than they are protected by the Constitution. I'm an atheist, but I know enough about religion to know that the King James Bible is the biggest crock of bullshit out there. When you tell people about it's factual history (at least the people who believe in it) they tell you that your distorting the truth, and that your an agent of Satan or something moronic like that. King James modified the New Testament so that he could have absolute rule over his people - nothing more.

Those kinds of people are scary, and should be tolerated at twice arms length. I want nothing to do with the violently under-educated Bible thumping morons of the South.

I want to point out that I posted the first one when I was drunk and I was pissed at the shit they had been speewing for the pat few months. I really hate it when their kids start screaming that we are fornicators. A 12-year old got in my face, thinking that his age and the Bible were going to keep me from screaming back. I let him have it: that King James was a massive homosexual, the KJ was a book designed for hate, the book of Proverbs. the kid nearly fell over when he ran to his preacher to ask for help. That SOB just got in my face and said that me and other college students were responsible for the state of Louisiana and that more was coming. These people call Pat Robertson a member of the dammed for being an educated liberal. WTF?!
